Street Sparring/Bet Spar is an idea I came up with that will make sparring more interesting, and bring a lot more fun for Ol West. Street Spar is you can challenge anyone to a spar anywhere in West (except inside buildings). How this would work is, when your opponent excepts the spar request, a mini spar aren will merge around you. You will be set up like any normal spar, and a creat will blow up in the middle to start it. Now the only downfall I could see on making this happen, is the people who aren't sparring, and they can't get around it. I was saying that when your close to the spar arena, you will be teleported to the other side so you can't interfee with the people sparring and get around the arena. Now with a additional idea with the Street Spar, would be Bet Spar. Bet Spar is where you can make bets with people, for items, gralats, and even maybe hats, whatever you choose to bet, the winner gets the prize. I feel this would also make a whole other room in the spar complex for the people who like to take risks. Idk, just a little thought I had that could possible bring more people to Ol West and make it a little more fun, hope you guys like the idea  

Ooh the bet spar sounds fun! But not sure about street spar, maybe have a coule of maps, you both warp to, that have buildings and are a decent size for a building or two, i find it better than a small arena around you, i think it woukd be easier that way! Cause what if its in start, and a couple arenas are around you when you need to get to a certain place and such. Maybe just a highlighted area that if you leave, you lose. But players cant kill you, only ypur opponent. Maybe better than a whole barrel thing, and easier!  

I see what youre saying about the street spar, but I don't know how this would would out :o...especially imagining say 20 people in one area trying to street spar each other, even with warps its a lot of obstruction

As for the bet spar, I love that maybe there can be a special trade table where you place your bet items on, and winner takes all?

I personally think this would be a great add on especially the bet spar where you could be like i will give you homelesswitch's hat if you win and you give me shiz hat if i win i would love that and also being able to bet gralats and melees would be awesome too maybe even guns.
I also love street spar idea when u can just challenge someone to a spar anywhere so if someones talking trash you could challenge them that moment and it would kind of me like a showdown

I like the trade able idea and with the special spar room at the top could be a trade table with the items u bet just like a normal trade able.
also that would probably take a while for hats because they would have to make every hat tradeable or have a exception  

I love the idea of a "street spar". I'm surprised no one has suggested that before, it would give a much more "wild west" feel.

How about you are warped to a level were this would not interfear with other players, once you finish you will be warped back to the same cordinates you were at.


But im thinking maybe a showdown would be better with a 1 hit ko guns only

Or that could be a new kind of spar. You can't move and your only allowed to use a provided 1 hit kill gun. First person to pull the trigger wins. But there might be issues with lag there...

I had the brief idea of making a traditional wild-west shoot down event like this, but the idea was shot down quickly. Lag issues, speedhackers and macros and all other stuff that would be undetectable would just ruin it. And when you think about it, an event where you try to tap a button faster than another person sounds pretty boring to me...

I see, and yeah ive had thought about wild west shootout thing. But what if, they made it similat to zones fishing. A bar across
your screen, and an arrow under it moving at a pretty fasts speed. 5 seconds to try to make it in the middle area, whhich would be green. Closest player out of the two shoots first, and wins!

how about a showdown that works like the un event: samurai.  

and instead of street spar it could be showdown or lock n load  

I like all the ideas you guys have for this

Is Ol' West any good to play?

Yeah it's fun, its very slow paced though and you kind of have to time your shots if you spar and base. Then money is easy to get so you won't need to buy iTunes (unless you really want to). But overall its era but slowed down.
