Actually bomies first appeared on Classic but then moved to Graal: Bomy Moon to produce revenue. Kingdoms adopted them

I'm not sure. Bomies also appeared very early in Unixmads Eurocenter game Battle Online.

In 2000 I added birds for literally no reason to the sky chapel. I figured out if I added "canbecarried" you could carry them between levels and they'd fly around different levels. I created bomies to be a gamewide animal that walked around; Darkman graciously coded them and when I asked Kyle0654 to improve them, he for no reason began a project to play as them. I asked Stefan to invent the NPC Server so they could warp through levels on their own, and had him improve a ton of features for Kyle's "playable" project. Ganis were invented to help the player animation replacement, then we showed up on Halloween on Classic walking around as bomies for a party I threw and in 2001 we launched Graal's first pay server featuring bomies as a selectable race.

Old graal history is interesting, the bomie was iconic to graal aswell as fung si yan
Sadly I find people have forgoten bombies and they have been used for other purposes like robots and factory workers.
It would be cool if we had a bombie morph quest on iclassic, destiny is not completely finished and your tower and the pyramid could be used for that

This morph business has got to end. It's the same as collecting items, selecting whatever color clothes you want, any head or other graphic whenever you want; without limitations the gameplay becomes a linear "get enough power" conquest. It eventually is achieved, or a fraction of it that is sufficient, and people get bored then questing and travel end.

Bomies have to be their own race, or they will lack sanctity and purpose, and be just another clutter trick to show off in Graal City where everyone else is.
