Jumbled zones don't merely create clientside lag; the server also has to send a ton of exponential player data to players within rendering distance. It's like a hyperbola; for every multiple players interacting, the amount of intimate data multiplies to each of the players in the situation. So if two players interact, the server sends one extra player data to two people (2). If three players, it sends two extra interactions to three players now (6). If 50, it is processing 49*50 for one arbitrary spot (2,450).

people who have played for more than 5 years still can't even grasp how delay works or how ping correlates to your distance from the server so yeah

Consider the levels are littered with player clusters throughout a considerable number of locations, some with hundreds
60 players = 3540
100 = 9900
200 = 39800

The server is taxed, and it's a gameplay error  

someone hop on UN and lets spar I'm bored  

I got on just now, after about 15 minutes of waiting on PC. There are 2k people on and the lag is still pretty bad, rip server  

You can't model an MMORPG off of money, cosmetics, and a console gameplay; it will decay with capacity, not flourish

I haven't read the posts so sorry if this has been said.
Graal staff do voluntarywork , they do not control or fund any graal related stuff so they can not do anything but suggest is to the person who actually pays for the games servers and stuff. In short most staff don't have the power to reduce server lag by getting a better server  

Can staff even login when the server is like this?

They experience the same problems logging on as everyone else  

What I don't understand is why it takes so much time to disconnect when afk , I mean I can walk through graal City and see some people , walk back in 30 mins and the same people are there still afk .... Surely they would get disconnected by then , there has to be a way to reduce the amount of people afk in this area

Then they should just shut down the server (have a loading screen saying they are working on the situation)and wait for it to be fully fixed...If someone who never played Graal before tried to login and got to,it would set a horrible example.
