Farming Crops

I really want to grow some crops. It was something cool Delteria had on it's server. You should be able to harvest carrots, wheat, and corn. Seems like a peaceful type of way to spend your time in the game.

Step 1. Buy seeds from a store
Step 2. Dig with shovel
Step 3. Plant seed
Step 4. Close with shovel
Step 5. Wait (Depends on crop, can take hours to be ready for harvesting)
Step 6. Harvest once timer reaches 0:00

You can sell the crops you harvested at the store, or ask them to cook the crops, so that you can use as food for later.

You could get a bucket, then fill it up with water from the river.

Yeah, but I was thinking of a Garden Shop having the tools for you to use.

This may be stupid but, I was thinking in the,'housing section' you could have a garden which could be like a green house. You could catch bugs and show them off there by placing them on shelves or setting them free.Also you would be able to grown all of your goods there too.

Sounds cool, but I was just thinking of ways to get people to explore more areas, and use the land instead of everything be in one place.

If you really want to go all in, have the crops spoil after a certain amount of time. Like 6 hours after the harvest timer goes off you'll have to collect them(although this is used a lot in other apps, but it is just an idea). You could also have some sort of "fresh" crop, as in you collected it minutes after the timer went off.
