Any tips for what to do when it's 0.5 v 0.5? My hands get really sweaty and they start shaking a bit and I start to move away from my playstyle.

try to keep them guessing, blinks aren't an option obviously since you are on 0.5, throw something new in there.
Say you've been playing defensively the whole game fake a rush and then play it defensive and catch them off guard

Completely untrue.
Droid taught me how to spar and after about 2 months of him teaching me I was better than a lot of people in the battle arena (these people had been playing years).
Having someone teach you wont instantly make you better, but it will increase the speed of which you improve for sure.
So either I'm a very talented sparrer or teaching does work. I think it's the latter

You need to take more credit for your own improvement than you are currently giving yourself, but I thank you for how much you valued my time, and I am glad I made such a positive impact to your Graal spar career.

I think people underestimate the power of a well timed slash...or as people who completely are overwhelmed by good timing call it "your sword is so long tf!"  

If there is one more mechanic I think it's going in between sword slashes i've seen very few being able to do it in terms of iDev including myself but it's still ghetto shouldn't work on me when I spam sword really fast... It works once in a forever on me but still those who can do it I applaud!  

What does the c tech have that's easy to counter? Like how can someone get in and hit you you while doing the c tech?

When you c-style you tend to move in pretty wide, predictable arcs. This makes someone with good timing able to hit you while you're still in the arc of the "c" and not at the ends, and since your character tends to not be facing inwards of the "c" when they strike, even trading isn't an option. It's why c-styling has fallen out of favor I think, unless vs. delay when a rush isn't as likely to counter it.

Couldn't you just fake them out while they try to hit you while you're in the arc? You should have enough time to hit they're back or sides.

Pretty sure every sparrer starts with a c technique and changes it up a little. As you said, add fakes in your pattern and unexpected sword swings and you'll develop your own style.  

C sparring isn't always the best way to go, it's extremely predictable and a decent opponent will always know where to spam you because you are repeating the same movement over and over again, learning to spar without this can be a big challenge for newer sparrers so its good to learn how to play without it really early on.

I tend to mechanically dip in and out of range. Moving diagonally gives you a slight speed increase.  

I like using the o pattern and whenever I get to 0.5, I take a defensive approach and use a somewhat c pattern. But I let them approach me

O is very good, but it requires you to be pretty fast otherwise your opponent will just hug the walls.
