Pop-ups
I'm honestly not good with technology at all, and I have no idea what websites to trust. Lately I've been getting a lot of click pop-ups. I'll click something, but something else in another tab/window will open. I've checked my basic settings and it has pop-ups blocked for all sites. My computer is relatively new. About two months old, it's an HP Pavilion. TL;DR: Does anyone know a way to prevent pop-ups? |

![]() On the other hand, this annoying little window now pops up whenever I restart my PC. Is there a way to get rid of it? If not it's easily something I can live with but it'd be easier without |

Fun fact: the man who made pop-up ads apologized for making the world's most hated form of advertisement.

Assuming this happens when you log onto your pc... Press Windows+R and type "msconfig." Go to the Startup tab(at this point it may tell you to do so via Task Manager. If it does just right click your task bar and open Task Manager and go to the startup tab). Look for StyleFollow.dll and if you find it uncheck it. |

Download autoruns: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/.../bb963902.aspx Find the 'stylefollow.dll' in the list that the program will make (it should be red) and just delete it. |
