I used to hate "arrow to the knee" jokes. I still do. - Not even a joke, I'm ****ing serious. They got old 2.3 minutes after Skyrim came out.

I had no idea what arrow to the knee jokes were until I looked them up yesterday. I'd least expect it to be from Skyrim. I honestly don't get it.

Tyler, did you ever go to free the prisoner? In... Um the first Dragon you kill is there. Sorry, it's been a while. But that's where I first heard it. The soldier there says, "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee."

Eh can't remember. I know the guard says it, but I don't get why it's a funny joke. I haven't been in the Skyrim mood lately for whatever reason.

I think that a lot of the NPCs say it, but I didn't get very far so I don't know.

Exactly. But pretty much every town's guard says it. It's in their "dialog queue".
