With hats and the occasional mount, yeah. That's exactly what it was last year, and the year before it, and this year too.

Though i disliked a mass majority f last ears hats, they were definitely of a far higher quality.

Final thoughts: Having never experienced a Club Crypt, I came in with the assumption that it would be a cool Halloween themed place for players to come hang out in, meet new people, and discuss both their Graalloween experience and their plans for Halloween. With a few hats for sale, maybe a mount and morph. I wasn't wrong, and the amount of things for sale far exceeded what I had thought there would be, considering all of the other things that were already available during Graalloween. The amount of hats were very surprising, giving the players much choice in what they'd like to purchase. I liked a lot of the hats, and I'm still unsure which I want to buy. Honestly I think the main reason a lot of you guys don't like the hats is just personal preference. Which is fine. Before saying they suck or whatever, try to remember that although you personally don't like them, other people just might. I think they're well made, considering that I like how they look. I think the werewolf mount looks cool, and the spider morph seems popular. I might even buy the intestine jump rope just because it goes well with a brain hat lol. Finally, about the VIP room being all furniture, I thought that made sense when I saw it. Most people who buy furniture in bulk are the ones who are able to purchase VIP every month. In closing, I really liked Club Crypt, and it makes me a bit saddened to see so much negativity on the forums.

That is the exact reason. Because you never experienced a graaloween, you wouldn't know what its about, but older players would get annoyed because its not as good. The same goes vice versa if the last year was crap. (What it was.)  

there is a saying for unappreciative people (like some of our fellow posters in this thread) in Arabic but I'd rather not say it
moving on, this year's Club Crypt contains more hats than the past 2 years' Club Crypts combined and people are complaining, whatevs, I thought the cat and wolf ear hats are cute, would've bought everything if I had enough money

Ya this Halloween has really brought out the ****ty attitudes of people on here.

<3 I liked the goblins. Nice touch. Also the increased pumpkins. Ghosts were a bit of a let down, but then they were everywhere, so easy to find/hard to catch makes sense.

In accordance with this thread, I liked a few items in the crypt - particularly happy to see a standard set of furniture (crypt furniture) appear for a third year in a row. This said I didn't buy it (already had it). That some people could get it now if they missed it before or just started the game was very cool. Hope it's a fixture!

Got a straw hat and the broom... and a few old school bones, just for feelz.

Overall, I am surprised at how much effort went into halloween considering the friggin awesome nexus that JUST happened.

To me, "not as good" isn't really something to be annoyed about. Each year is different. I wouldn't expect it to be exponentially better each and every year. It's a good Graalloween, in my opinion, so just because it may have been better last year in no way makes it a poor one this year. I'm sure there were certain aspects of this year that were better than last year, and vice versa. Ultimately, it was a positive Graalloween and Club Crypt to a lot of people, and that's what I'm trying to express on here, to go along with the negative reviews.

I think the problem is that older players were very spoiled when it came to holidays like this (take for example that giant quest in Deadwood, or the play they put on), and now that the devs simply cannot reach those same standards due to the sheer amount of players and upcoming holidays, people become disappointed and don't think the devs are doing that great of a job, when in reality they are actually doing a very good job.

The new items this year are so disappointing.

The skull hood is great but the side view made me not want to buy it. Glad I didn't buy gralat packs before it opened... Waiting in a pic of the vip room before I use my voucher though

I don't think they were spoiled. I think the old artist were just better

Actually if you were to ask any experienced GFX artist, I am quite sure they would tell you that the current GFX on Graal is much better than it was a few years ago.

Disregarding that, I was saying that older players were spoiled because they usually got huge holiday updates that were very time consuming, such as the Deadwood quest, and now that the devs can't and don't want to do that (very time consuming with Christmas around the corner, and they also want an event they can use every year as they have mentioned) older players are disappointed and assume that the content released is of lower quality than it was in previous years.
