There's a spider baddy?

The red-brownish things with about 4 legs right from taylor richards and the Adoption Center (I think).  

Maybe it's time to redo those graphics lmao  

• Spiral stairwells now properly work and should be much less buggier in general

It's called panning, but players may know it as the focus button that you see at the bottom of the screen in your house and in shops.

• It will now check your status for broken/nonexistent images and deny if they are found.
• Your status will be checked on login for nonexistent images and replace them with a "file not found" placeholder.
• Statuses now support alpha backgrounds via bgcolor=#rrggbbaa. This is to make up for the exploits players were using that has been patched with the above fix.
• Shops will now have item sizes preloaded so the shop item is properly shown when first loaded instead of being very tiny.

The reason for the status changes is to try to cut back on the load of the server trying to load all the broken images players tend to have in their statuses.

Strange feature, considering it sticks the default background behind your semitransparent background.
Also, if anyone remembers the old "#______center.png" backgrounds, you can get a similar look by setting the alpha value to about "cc"

#XXXXXXce should work since CE is a valid hex code.  

• Rats should now be properly dying and respawning
• There is now a chest and npc on Balamb that explains the way chests work for unidentified players
