I like the general design. But, yes as Baseman said, more detail.

You used like 3 different blocks in the entire level. That is terrible.

I think the point of this post was to get opinions on the layout, it's not the finished product. He wants to know how it is as a guild fort before he goes all out on design.

I'm not going to go into what "looks pretty" and what doesn't, but the overall design is pretty bad. Way too conjested

3 defenders = hold forever. Just throw in some spikes and I could hold it alone forever. Oh, I didn't mention, I actually like the colours. Needs some work but a sandy fort would be awesome. |

Yeah, I guess you guys don't like reading lol. I said in the OP that this is just the regular design and I'll make it pretty later. I want comments on the design not how it looks. This tower wouldn't be really easy to defend at all since it takes the defenders a while to get to the main choke points. And since it's open on 2 sides all the way to the flag room it would be pretty difficult to effectively defend actually.

Start off with one person on the door, one person at each main chokepoint. When the defenders die, they run as far down the sides as quickly as possible to stop any attackers (if they were defending the door or first choke point they'll probably make it into the spiral-ly part) Apart from the main flag area, there is nowhere where a single defender can't stop attackers getting through.

One person on the door would be basically pointless because the attackers are closer to their spawn than you are to yours. 3 defenders could not successfully defend this tower against an attack of 5 or more people. You seem to think that people don't die while they defend towers lol. The long hallways is probably where most defenders would be that's where the offense would have to push. I see no huge difference in this than in the grassy area in swamp, or the side stairs in deadwood. The thing that makes it stand out is the fact that there's no one door which people block. This leaves a disadvantage for the defenders which is substituted with the large walking space. I personally think it would work fine. And honestly I was expecting more complaints about it being to hard to defend lol.

Attached: Numbers are defenders, defender one is defending the door downstairs. First time you die is pink, run as far as you can. Next time you die is green, run as far down as you can. Third time you die is blue, run as far as you can (on the side you're defending, I had to draw on the other side for space). Every other time you die is orange, run as far as you can. I doubt you'll get much further than the hallway however. Yellow = choke points. |

Lol the same argument can be made for almost every other tower. But on every other tower It wouldnt work. None of the blacked have anything to put themselves against to Stand ground on any single point either. They'll get kbockback which will make things a lot more difficult to defend as well. Unless the attackers your talking about are complete noobs it just wouldn't work. People would just slash them to the side and run past since yes, they are choke points but if you move em to the side one you can get past. Every regular tower has tons of choke points. Why should this be any different? |

The diamond part would be difficult to hit people since players can't stand diagonally. The second floor has too many thin passage ways where it would be nearly impossible to attack the tower and cause massive blockage. Also, maybe change some tiles around and make the colors look more lively rather than a desert kind of thing. Keep going and experimenting with different designs though.
