if you get the imgur link, close the window from there, dont go on and click "proceed" or "upload", im pretty sure if you just get the link it wont upload anywhere (unless you mean if someone gets the link you sent)

Just upload it to imgur and no one will find it unless they guess the url, which I doubt they will.

They wouldn't make a progression thread if they arn't going to be careful of gfx theft.  

I just remember that one of the gfx admins (not mentioning who) stole a hat from my friend keisha (from keitopia) and claimed it she did it was hers, but its not.

The hat was a giant lip from valentines onnet shop, that Keisha submitted it on christmas at 2014 and it got denied, but now she found it out that it was on onnet shop and she felt upset about it and didnt bought it.

So is there a way that she can get 10k gralats? since the hat got stolen from a admin, so its clearly they owe her gralats.

So I asked her if she can find the file so that theres evidence that it was hers not the admin. :/  

I'm curious as if this would fall under boundaries of being a "Christmas" hat. Because I make a lot of 1k hat submissions.

The hats don't have to be christmas themed so I guess it could be put in a tough present.
