playercount:2800 ms: 120 he did dodge my hits, but there were times where i pressed my sword and didn't work. other than that he's good at defense stance for sure though, he guess all my next move correctly with noobish spam and i almost felt like i got no 'blink' against him. never saw someone who combo me down 3 to 1 in 10 second and most of the time i felt no warp or delay. which is strange. then again, james205 flawed him once. qes, got rekt at 1st match, then clutched 2nd match, beat him in 3rd. dayson messiah got rektd like me lol red too lolz idk maybe i need to improve against people who play like that. |

Massokre complains about GPs a lot but he's right, at least in cases in the arena 90% of admins are completely clueless when it comes to handling actual game-related incidents, like speed hacking, lag blocking, etc. Some guy is blatantly speeding in the arena now, my guess would be 110%, and the GP is just derpy over it: ![]() ![]() The guy isn't winning many spars, so it's not salt complaints. Everyone seems to be able to eyeball the speed except the GP. He did end up banning someone for calling admins ****, though. ![]() We gotta have more GPs that act beyond being trained monkeys that can spot someone saying a curse word and instantly ban them for it, this kinda stuff really should not be hard... |

I wanna add to Thallen's post because of the last picture. Why is the word **** not censored in game but we'll be punished if used?

Also feel free to forum PM me the names of these speed hackers or issues like this if they occur again. Although make sure reporting is your first priority. |

@Thall I've been pming electron for well over half an hour and he can't make a judgement right now because of the server lagging, he said he is more then likely toggling on with a hotkey which has been set up to alter speed to 1.5x

I imagine one of the problems is probably that the whole GP training course doesn't actually deal with handling situations that deal with the game's mechanics. If someone has not spent many hours towering or sparring, it will be very difficult for them to understand minor-level speed hacking, lag blocking, etc. The report screen should probably be completely remade to include some checkbox style-reporting, like:
I can't think of more examples, but in instances of reports ticked under harassment you could also trigger it to automatically block that player... which seems helpful. I don't know how reports are sent to staff, but stuff like speed/wall/health hacking should probably be shown more urgently, maybe broadcasted to RC or something (if it isn't already). I've seen people on these forums whining about speed hackers and I thought it was just exaggeration, but now that I've sparred actively this month I can see that there is actually a ton of them, as well as the occasional health hacker. Some of these guys get away with doing it for an hour or more before anything is done... |

I feel like you could make a system like that self-sufficient too, like if a player is reported for speed/health/wall hacking X times in X minutes in X level, trigger it to automatically warp them or remove them from a spar queue? Clearly that can be abused, but you don't have to announce to players that this measure even exists and punishment for abusing it would need to be severe. That's just an idea to explain what I mean though, not something I expect to happen. But yeah, I think a remake of the report feature with option-based reporting would allow for a little better handling of these issues. Like I said, harassment-based reports can basically be self-solved simply by triggering an automated block of the player immediately when reporting them. I'm sure there are other crafty ways you can use it. I dunno, but sometimes the current reporting system feels like a placebo. |

Okay I know admins have lives but there's a lot of people out there and one question, why was the admin list removed? That sign really helped and it can help other players so they can contact which admins are on

I think that the GP's aren't the problem often, the reporting system is. As I've heard from plenty of administers, new and old, most of the reports consist of "stealing my gralats" or "keeps killing me". So, yeah. I personally would be all for a reporting system with options, and not specified reports. I think that the other problem is that the GP team seems understaffed.
