If you have played lately the game seems to be running slow, and i can say that it's not my connection because everything else runs smoothly. Also other players complain about the lag. I think this is due to the snow falling and taking up memory. Can an admin tell me why the server is so laggy and if they will fix this.

As Christmas is coming up, the snow and all the extra files and bits are needed to make it feel more Christmastime like.
This is also due to the player count in the middle since that Christmas stall come in. So expect some lag at middle-start. Hope this answered and verified your questions.

This is only for a period of time, just to enjoy Christmas. I do lag myself. Just be patient and enjoy Christmas whilst your at it!

Think of all the lovely presents coming your way in those gift boxes.

It's not the weather effects. That would only be clientside lag, not the server. If you have issues with that, toggle the less lag option on in your player options.

I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, but we're looking for it whenever it happens so we can fix it. FIXIN' PROBLEMS, YAS.

I have less effects on, but for some reason start is just too laggy for me, otherwise everything else is fine. And this was still a problem for me way before the seasons changed.

less effects is for .gif on hats and the snow for example.
The start is simply just everyone's movements and sys work. E.g people gifting and saying so much, also people camping at start for gifts. This isn't the first time like yogurt said.
