Seems mostly pointless to me. I guess it's unique, so props to classic for that. Maybe it's something that you need time with to get used to. I'm sure it will be improved or added upon in the future posdibly, but when I use it to change my hat, the time it takes to load and open my hat inventory is the same amount of time it takes me to click on myself and open my hat inventory myself. I like the report option because it makes for quicker reports, which means staff have a better chance of catching bad language or something. Like I said, it's unique, but really unnecessary in my opinion.

Yeah, I noticed that tapping on character, then items is waay faster than holding on the character.

What would be cooooooooooooooooooooL

is if by holding someone else's character, you can see their hats, mounts, items, etc... would be cool.

Edit: Didn't even know you can do this for other players. Seeing their items would be nice. "Wow, rare hat"

Unnecessary but necessary. For one, it's to stop confusion for some players who might not realize you can just let go. It also serves as a way to sort of make menus with only one option a little less weird.

So at no point would a player take their finger off the screen but instead hold their finger on the screen until they find a cancel button.

Seems legit  

Implement an add friend and message button and it'll be perfect.

They'd probably feel like they have to select one of the icons.  

No matter how your ui is designed, there will be people who don't "get it."

I don't agree with keeping the close option, but I see why Dusty would want it. Even though all it takes is for them to lift their finger once after opening the menu to figure out how it works, which I did since I didn't know you had to hold it there to keep it open.  

I wish there was a custom option to chose what the "hotkeys" are
