He recoloured a mask and tried to make it(100% other than the colour choices someone else' work) a 1k hat. That's a big step up in terms of stealing. The head, I can see why it annoys people, but it doesn't bother me TOO much. The hat, that is too far. Not only would the person have got 100% credit for it but they would have also received the hat for free and the actual creator would receive nothing. All in all I think something needs to be done about protecting graals files now. There are hundreds of stolen heads on depot, which breaks copyright laws. But if graal will do nothing about that then so be it. They should at least do something about the files. Protect content made from now on. |

That hat has also been recolored, edited, and reused by multiple other guilds(because the hat was an Anbu edit). He simply did what everyone else did and he was asked to do it. Again, targeting a specific person for something that is so widely done doesn't really help the problem. The guy you claim he stole it from literally has (Anbu Edit) in his original file for the mask - why is he allowed to edit something but yet the other person isn't? You can't blame him for thinking it was alright to do what he did because it's happened so much and a lot of guilds have already done it. It's just Graal and I think too many people over react over stuff like this, if people want to file personal copyright complaints against GraalDepot then they should do that nobody is stopping them. |

Why shame others when you can't even draw a square yourself?

Was any of your guys work properly registered as Copyright? First, many artists don’t realize that they need permission from other artists if they use somebody else’s work as reference for their own. When an artist uses a photograph for reference, the painting or artwork is called a derivative work. While the artist can maintain some ownership over their own work, they first need permission from the original photographer to use the photo for reference that also includes the original heads present in the game and the templates. How can I stop people from stealing my artwork on the internet? You can’t. So first of all, it’s probably a good idea not to worry about it too much. The real question is, how do you address the issue when you see it. The answer probably lies in the context. If some fan of your work posts one of your images on their website, then little damage was done. And if they gave you credit for it, then it only helps you, especially if you have a copyright notice on the image so people know how to find you if they want to see more of your work, or if they’re interested in commissioning something from you, for example… If you see widespread commercial abuse and theft of your images, then you probably need to seek legal help. But that shouldn’t stop you from sharing your artwork and building an online reputation. If your work is stolen or used without your permission, here are some things you can do. 1) Do Nothing (Most of the time it is not worth the time and money) 2) Request credit 3) Hire a Lawyer to Send a Demand Letter In most jurisdictions the copyright holder must bear the cost of enforcing copyright. This will usually involve engaging legal representation, administrative and or court costs. In light of this, many copyright disputes are settled by a direct approach to the infringing party in order to settle the dispute out of court. 4) Slút Shame Them Sometimes it’s very hard to sue a company when they’ve infringed on your copyright. If a company has traced your artwork or reproduced it exactly, then you have a copyright case. But many cases what they’ll do is recreate your artwork just slightly differently so that it’s not the exact same image and that’s hard to fight. In cases when you can’t really fight the case legally, you can always slút shame the company or individual. Let the world know they’re thieves using social media. What's uploaded to graal becomes graal's if they have the app and something like ifiles then yes they can go and get your head/body/whatever it's not stolen its playeruploaded that anyone could get access to it if they had such things like ifiles.. whether liked or not you can't stop it, unless you become staff and then remove it for 'impersonating staff' oh how ironic isn't that ego just.. so basically if you make something and upload it, then its for everyone if they wish to use, not stolen.

No you cant. Ifile isnt implimented as a normal feature on ios devices. And you cant access the image files with android like ifile can. Even with a root browser. Just because someone CAN take something using various methods does not mean they are allowed to. You dont need to register something for copyright. It is copyright protected from the get go. I have a feeling collin uses ifile. I cant believe a graalians admin is defending literal law breaking...
Theres a lot more they could do to prevent the theft of others gfx. Copyright is managable if admins act quick after discovering it. Like they did with towers inc. Obviously things will slip through unnoticed (just like the blatent bleach, naruto and maplestory rip off hats) But thats expected. Just not to the extent that is already happening. I remember telling a gfx staff back in like 2012 about a stolen set of hats. They said they would do something about it. Those hats still exist because they arent "just copy pastes" |

This is why I've uploaded an hideous head more like a scary head and log in rarely, Why? If I log in rarely people wouldn't be able to download my head. What do you mean by Download my head? I mean that cache files, Cache files are the things that gets downloaded to your device, I think, I had conducted an experiment by removing all the images on my iPad (before) and By images including the other files. Then I checked ifile without identifying, and Checked ifile and other stuff and also after seeing personal heads it started showing up on iFile. So if you don't want your graphics to be stolen, Log in rarely/ |

If you don't want people to use your graphics on Graal, don't upload them.

Anything you upload to graal is graal's property, not yours. Jeez stop losing all your sh*ts people, if you don't want your "top notch" graphics to be used by others then don't upload them to a place where they're obviously gonna get taken by others anyways. Seriously, just accept the fact this will never change and be happy people enjoy the crap you made for this game

This is pretty much where it is, at this point. This has been an issue for years. Nobody is going to make modifications to any of the clients to combat this, so if you're going to upload something to Graal, be prepared for it to be edited and re-uploaded. I don't think it's right, but in all fairness nothing good will come of being so attached to your work. Be proud, but don't be crazy. |
