Phone Question
I have a terrible phone and my telecom company under Sprint network accepts Sprint devices. I looked through Ebay, they sell a lot of Sprint phones without SIM card. Can I buy Sprint SIM card and put it, will it work? According to one of their employee, my phone doesn't even have a SIM card, is that possible? I mean it is really old crappy first gen android though. Can I order a phone from Sprint official website and can I use it with my current telecom company? |

Sprint(and companies using the Sprint network) doesn't use SIM cards, the phones need to be activated by the company. You'll have to get the device, then call(or use their website if available) and input a code that's on the phone, usually under the battery. So there is a risk with buying used phones under this system as if the phone is reported stolen it's deactivated and can not be activated again. So you run the risk of buying a phone that is practically useless and won't know it until you get it and try to activate. I'm pretty sure there are ways to check if a phone is locked or not, but I don't remember so you might have to do some research. |

According to reviews, the OnePlus3 is a pretty good phone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycIpOZY03OM Plan on upgrading my aging lg g2 to it. But of course it might be best to wait a few weeks to see if theres any problems with them, apparently their support is non existent. |

And yeah I do recall the website saying something about 18 or 11 digit code behind the battery. So if I order phones through the Sprint website, then visit my telecom company in person = phone activate? how much yo |
