Wentworth is definitely on the serious side of things. But that's the kind of TV show I'm into so I'm biased towards it. I've seen the first two seasons of OITNB and I enjoyed Wentworth more.

Just watched the first episode. It seemed boring to me. The characters don't seem to have as much personality, so with all the **** that went down in the first episode, I don't really know how to feel about each character. I'm going to continue watching. OITNB definitely has better writing.

Wentworth is better.

I don't really think they're comparable. I love both shows, but you don't go in to OITNB looking for what you get in Wentworth, and vice versa. Both definitely worth watching at any rate though.

Hmm maybe so. I still enjoyed Wentworth more, but I might finish OITNB in the future.

Wentworth is wayy too dramatic. They do slow-mo every time anything dramatic happens. It really ruins the dramatic moment. Plus Jax(Jacks?) is a terrible character with terrible lines. They try to make her seem badass and tough, but then they have her saying the stupidest lines. I'm glad she's gone though. Maybe season 2 will be better.
