i think lua is gr8 for GUI's, see WoW, and the possibility for addons

Lua is a great simple language, and since I've made the Lua-C++ wrapper, most of Graal3D's C++ functions and variables will be accessable.
Anywhere from attaching an object to your player's hand or setting every player on fire will be possible to code in Lua

Right now I'm not in need of new assets, but eventually I will be.
Another thing I'll be adding soon is an upload system so people who code can upload images or 3D objects to use in their scripts  

Just thought I'd give a quick update that I'm fixing any bugs I can find right now. Ain't easy cause there's a stupid crash somewhere the debugger isn't catching.

Anywho, players are now allowed to update and change server scripts.
Which includes code that allows you to update scripts such as the function:
server:updateScript("chat","this is the new chat script which won't run cause this isn't code, just text")
Scripts then send and update for all players.

I've added script collaboration to my "to-do" list so multiple players can script at the same time and see changes, much like in Google Docs.

After I figure out this random crash somewhere in my code, I'll be handing out Graal3D.exe or Graal3D.apk downloads to people who want to give the game a try with scripting.

Atleast it doesn't look horrible like 90% of my codes. Everything I do is Java.

Is the server still open for beta testing?

Hello hello hello! Long time no see, Graalians.

Long story short, I took a break from personal coding projects cause college and I started changing myself physically. Yepp, steroids (jk, but testosterone boosters which is pretty similar I suppose).
In case you were wondering what I look like now, because you're some weird creep or you're legitimately interested in my progress, here ya go:

Anywho, I've restarted the Graal3D project.
All things from the previous version (listed somewhere in the General Graal Development forum section) will be re-implemented in a different way.
Things like movement, basic animations (walking, idle, swimming, etc), chat, playerlist and messages, etc. will be built into the client.

The difference now is that weapons will be created similar to Graal's GS2, but used with Lua instead.
This will include uploading your own scripts to the server!!
I'm still unsure how it will work (such as if it should cost in-game money or what), but I will allow players to make their own scripts for use, and submit them via an in-game window to be reviewed.

For a small example of how Lua can be used, refer to this image of the restarted project:
