Could be a roster decrease. Less members per guild = more guilds towering = more competition. If guilds had more members than they do now it'd just be the same two or three guilds dominating.

It's not just about towering, though. You have to consider social guilds, spar guilds, etc.

That's not what this entire rework is targeting though. It's been said many times that the changes are going to be focused on competitive guilds.

That's true, I was only thinking about towering when I wrote that. I don't think spar guilds greatly benefit from more members though, or am I wrong? They don't really need 25 members considering the GST is for five cores and two subs. As for social guilds, fp4 didn't show anything about allies yet, and those provide plenty spots for an active guild chat.

We aren't "focusing on competitive guilds" we are aiming to promote guild loyalty and activity as whole regardless if you're in a towering or a social guild.

We're definitely not reducing the roster size either.

Loyalty to a set number of guilds can hurt social guilds though.

The 5 guild limit basically killed whatever was left of my old social guild FROOT, because I guess everyone didn't see a tag to a social guild to have much benefit in comparison to a competitive guild. The only ones remaining are majorly those who have quit, or those who are in more than 5 guilds.

The system seems to benefit competitive guilds over social guilds, which is fine.

Based on the screenshot we can only assume they'll be some type of scroll, larger guild rosters confirmed.

I just posted that because I hated how the other one had hats overlapping the text, but yes it is scrollable and is how roster lists are going to be displayed now.
