Yes, yes and probably yes.

I'll admit, it starts off a bit slow but once most of the plot starts to shape up and the characters begin to go at each others' throats(hehe), things get entertaining as ****.

I tried watching it when I got a free 30 day HBO subscription. I couldn't get into it, especially with the amount of nudity right away. So yes, there's a lot of romance, and I'm sure a lot of gore too.
