Profile Showcase
Players generally like to show off their accomplishments in their profile, and having an official way to do that would be a good addition to the game. ![]() For a lot of players, these outlined stats are irrelevant and/or unimportant relative to other achievements and stats that they've gotten over the years. A neat option would be the ability to replace these stats with other metrics and achievements that belong to a player. There are three lines on a profile that could display quite a few things. Since some players are much more involved in the social aspect of the game compared to the competitive one, they could showcase more socially-relevant things: number of friends, registration date (if that data is available), times a certain emote has been used, number of personal uploads, current location (this will likely involve the re-naming of the levels in Classic, but it would be a neat thing to look on someone's profile and see where they are - if they choose to provide that information), mounts owned, morphs owned, emotes owned, hats owned, distance traveled, quests completed, among many other things. There are many other metrics and awards that could be showcased on the more competitive player's profile: towers taken (times a player has gotten the final hit to secure a tower), guild spar hits ratio, kills/baddy kills/spar wins today, kills/baddy kills/spar wins this week, kills/baddy kills/spar wins this month, mixed GST victories, idevice GST victories, total GST victories, miscellaneous accomplishments/awards, among other metrics relevant to the competitive aspect of the game. Obviously some of these metrics are not currently stored by the server, but for most of these I'm sure that capability could be added. Doing this would also be helpful if other competitive aspects of the game are eventually added, as it frees up space on profiles to show that off. I think this could be a relatively easy improvement to make that would be rather exciting for players who want to show something off (or to hide that less-than-stellar spar record!). |

Keep it simplistic. Want to show your accomplishments? Open your house, display them. Keep profile public.

Perhaps an option to see how many spar wins/losses you have against an individual player. Pks as well.

I kinda like how in Steam, you have the option to showcase your "rarest" achievements, specific achievements that you find are cool, your came collection, badge collection, etc... Instead of the traditional Gamerscore. I know some people would probably showoff their amount of gst wins or event wins. Maybe how many hats they have collected, or a showcase of their hats.. idk They can easily setup their house for these things. Would be cool if ToonsLab took the Valve approach though. |

Only viable things that most of the community would probably care about are (In order) Favorite Hats Collection (Showcase your favorite hats, could be super rare one's) Amount of Hats Collected (A link to all their hats = choppier server?) GST Wins Event Wins Favorite Items (morphs, pogos, umbrellas etc) And even then, the devs could probably just have "favorite hats collection", as the only one, and maybe apply icons, which would make the other "collections" unnecessary. For example, they could put a ★ below an event hat The ⚔ (crossed swords) for gst hats ♜ (a rook) for tower hats By adding symbols like that, players would be able to make their own cool list, and maybe even have a mix of cool hats they have bought or earned. "Favorite Items", you could setup anything like your bow collection, morph collection, horses, bombs, umbrellas, pogos, etc, or a mix of whatever items you want to showcase. ![]() As for things like "The exact date when your account was created", seems dumb, and probably unlikely that they have that info (no idea). Maybe the amount of years, since you have been identified would be feasible?

I had expressed something I would like to see, as he was doing, and he dismissed it as irrelevant. Just pointing that out. |

I don't think graal is running Quickbooks... I could be wrong though, and like you said... it's my opinion. I never valued myself higher/lower than anyone here. I'm just thinking about the server, and how something like this could be added in an efficient way. Everyone else stated some pretty solid ideas on what people generally like to showcase, which are probably already tracked. That's why I said that the devs could sum it up into 1-3 categories, and players can choose what they want to showcase. I'm not a dev though, so I have no idea on how adding an estimate for every account's value (which would be updating everyone's info 24/7) would affect the server. |
