Did people seriously do this because you're gay? Because honestly shame on them. People thinking loving the same sex is going against god but then they go out of their way to victimise an innocent person.

Why do you instantly bring in religion? I know loads of homophobe people who never believed in god.  

Elk, my heart goes out to you. I can't imagine how scary it must have been for you, being attacked over your sexuality. It's one of my greatest fears, being assaulted over who I am. And to see it happen to someone who I don't personally know, but look up to in a way? Well it just brings to light how horrible people can be. I seriously hope you recover fast, and that nothing like that EVER happens to you again.  

Take MMA and/or self-defense classes and kick their ass!  

if they are group use weapon or throw things on them if they come again you cant beat group from close because they can catch you

Im not religious myself but one of the leading arguments against gays is that god was against it, that how people feel justified in what they do against it.
