Guild MOTD

Many games got in there Guilds a MOTD (Message Of The Day).

The leader can set a message,which every guildmember see if he sets the tag on.
The difference to Guild News is that only guild members can see and it will be showed as a pop-up if they take the tag. It doesn't sounds really helpfull but for example, if I want to tell every Member to get on an exact date online for an event and I'm not sure if everyone checks the guildnews(they may forget to check them) that they get 100% this message
without any cares from the leader.

I think this would help a guild to manage their own events.

If you want to get the attention of the guild,fans, or onlookers, this is definitely something to put in guild news. If you have a message for all members and you want only the members to know, why not send them a private message so they can read it when they get online? That's what Kurza did when it died, and that was over 25 members. Administration wouldn't add anything that isn't either in high demand, or clearly a helpful addition for tons of players. If it isn't necessary and can be done in another way, don't put them through the unnecessary work.

This is a brilliant idea. I could have used something like this in VG and it would have made a world of difference. Having to pm everyone individually is a pain in the rear.

The way I see things, your guild doesn't have steady members, always recruiting for towers and such. How would a message get sent to all the members who help, and not just a select few?

I wouldn't need it for the regular members, just the leaders. An option of who it goes to would have worked best for us. Or at least a way to mass message particular people.
