Tried the lightning thing with my guild members too. Surprisingly it did work but like everyone mentioned, I think the objects are just warp stations. Seems the most resonable idea atm.

Zone has futuristic technology yet is unable to go down to classic, which pretty much confirms it is a fake representation of the land "below".
Therefor there is still no proof as to classic having a legitimate sky whatsoever and we won't ever have one unless they'd add a way to render the game in 3D or add a way to go to space and literally jump down to earth past the clouds and all

Well the possibly of a sky should be more than probable since in Zone, traveling to different worlds where vegetation occurs is a key sign that there is an atomsphere and the point in which you claim that Zone is unable to visit Classic despite being able to travel to other said planets can be explained that the "over world" is none other than just a futuristic statue of sorts (but of course we general know this is a playback to the classic and zone servers). As for classic there is vegetation, weather, and of course biological life forms therefore there would be an atomsphere and hence forth a sky. What may even be more scary is that instead of a sky, it would be the person's face that is shown on the sky (this would occur while we play classic) and that the sky is simply a window for us to control our avatars hence why we the player have never seen what the sky looks like in game other than the loading screen.
The two possibilities are, even we have no sky, or our sky is instead replaced with the face of whom is playing.
Both are equally terrifying.

Magical.  

Since there wasn't one there before maybe that means they are still adding them around which means they might add one to burger refuge, the sparring arena, are even better the little square thing north of the graal city gate, since there isn't one in graal city.


If the new castle brings something important that people would want to go there a lot there might even be one in or outside the castle when the new one is released.

Would've been cool if you had to dig it up. All that easy content.. lost...  

Probably warp rings since they existed in Classic PC, then again that would kind of ruin the purpose of mounts so not sure

When I was designing my Classic I had designed it where you could only obtain a few set of gems and you could choose what statues those gems were placed in, and thus warp to.

^ If these statues are for warping, it will probably be set up like this. So mounts will still be relevant to get to places you don't have an active statue

The warp ring could have a cool down or a "uses per day" function as well... Or maybe require you to stand stationary for 10 seconds before warping like 'unstuck me.'

yeah it might cause some weird glitch or lag too much if you teleport suddenly while moving

lol there was 11 statues... not 10. Hopefully they add a warp statue to VIP, or Balamb Island too.

It was added recently. I checked there the first say I seen them. Unless I totally missed it.

maybe grabbing them only activates it for a second and if we put a diamond shaped object in that hole it will make them stay activated
