I literally had a dream about this the other day IRL lol. Was literally working on a thread about the exact same thing. o-o I would LOVE there to be a collectible aspect to these cards too. Maybe they can sell holiday packs. Certain cards could have animations and "holographic" effects. I would be so stoked about this its not even funny I want to be able to display my cards in a virtual binder, which I can keep in my inventory and display in my house. When other people are in my house they can look at the cards in my binder on display ![]() **edit** I just sent this message to Dusty but I'm curious what you guys think Hey Dusty, I totally agree with your idea that cards should be mostly cosmetic and fun. I don't understand why people want to turn this into a complex game. Maybe a game could accompany it, but it does not have to be super complicated. Cosmetic and tradable cards fit with the existing spirit of the game and gives the upper Graal echelon something else to sell. Rare "holographic" cards could be given away for events and holidays, just like hats and furniture. It would be fun to display our cards in a virtual binder that we can show to friends It would also be super neat if we could place the binder in our house for others to view. Sorry to bother, but this is something I feel pretty passionately about haha. Cosmetic, fun cards would be a great addition to Graal for many reasons. **In Summary** * Collectable cards with pretty digital holofoil * Card packs and cards can be sold on holidays and given away for events * You store your cards in a binder, which can be shown to friends and displayed in your house * Cards would focus more on collectability rather than balancing a game, but I guess a game could be fun * Card examples: Holofoil valentines slime, Bernard at Christmas, etc

I like this digital holofolder idea. Its a direction towards collecting/cosmetics, since this game is mainly about showing off what you got. I always like looking at nice/cool images. Plus, we got so many things to place these cards around the map and actions, such as rps, digging, swimming, events, quests, etc. I don't mind a little competition in this card collection idea, just as long as we somehow figure out some ways to make it fair for everyone, not having any advantage whats so ever against someone new. |

I love the idea of a classic-themed card game, that looks like fun. My only problem would be how you decide to word the descriptions. Right now they feel awkward and could probably be simplified or worded a little better, I had to read over a few of them a couple times to actually understand the function of the card. |

I think descriptions and designs can be easily fixed over time, with the help of classic's awesome community. I think we can just use a simple add and subtract type of game, they used to have one in Maplestory in-game (a very simple luck-based card game). The only thing we would only change is the design and shinyness. So basically two cards can have the same attack and defense, but the only difference is the design or description of the card (description has no effects just for funny or interesting sentence to put). If we keep the attack and defense of cards the same for newer cards, the game can be fair for new players. Heck we can even go as simple as a memory game. |

I think making collectible cards purely for cosmetics would actually be pretty cool. Obviously this probably wouldn't find its way onto Classic but maybe we could try something out on the forums first and see how that goes.

Reminds me of baseball cards. Not much of a use, but it's fun to collect anyways.
