I always hear players complain that admins don't do anything and blah blah blah, But do people ever think a small staff of admins probably have trouble keeping up to date with player demands? And constantly having to check Head ,body,shield,sword uploads, check player reports for that dude hacking. Along with constantly making hats, mounts, bombs, as well as events like nexus, revolution, ect.

So, Should admins be given more leisure time to relax and allow themselves to come back and do good work and put in more things?  

Admins should have all the time they need, all the work they do is voluntary and comes out of their own goodwill. The fact that they work and try to develop the game as best as possible with no expectations of money payment is already amazing in it self, specially as some of them produce outstanding work.

However it is true that the game does not have a rapid expansion and new content available at all times however thats the owners fault for not hiring lots of game devs, graals always felt like a community built game though which is what I think makes it as successful as it is for the most part.  

While developers have the power to approve uploads, that responsibility normally lies with the GP team so the developers have more time making things. The majority of the work is voluntarily based, some of the team may put in 5 hours a week, while others put in 30, it's entirely up to the individual.  

Staff are amazing at completing tasks quickly, that's not the issue. If someone is reported, or an upload uploaded while the appropriate staff member is online - it gets sorted quickly.

I think the actual problem, especially when it comes to GP's, is the distribution of staff.
I often see either 3-5 online at once, or none at all. There is a 6ish hour long period every day where there is very rarely any staff online.
People know about this time period and I often see them taking advantage of it.  

I would love to see Classics having a similar amount of "GPs" just like Era had.  

Graal Police, Graphics Admins and Developers are different teams though.
So there's no real reason why admins shouldn't be able to finish things in time if you look at it from that standpoint.

The thing is that they're volunteer positions though, so there's no specific work hours and you can't expect a volunteer to spend all their free time working on graal related things


As far as I know admins do a fine job at keeping it pretty balanced.
They can't do anything about there not being admins online 24/7 nor should they have to as it's not really their problem

If this guy can spend all day moderating graalians, classic staff can do the same. China labor laws apply here

Only when it comes to Nexus I believe admins should take their time, but for holidays like graaloween and Christmas they should be a little rushed because of the holiday deadline.

But I believe that issue could be solve with hiring more gfx artists to help out during the holidays.

Other than that admins do a great job :3  

Not many of the current staff are online either way. Some are busy with life, school, work. Time to hire newer active candidates.  

GFX & GP team is good, I just think they need more people as others said before, there's a lot of times where no admin is online for multiple hours

Well, considering like you said, they are busy with life, school, and life, this recent production of decent content all year has been pretty good with the current staff.

If you are referring to GP staff, then hiring new ones would only give us the same problem, Even if they are more active at first because of the hype of getting admin powers.

Not all people have the same schedule on their day to day basis , a lot of people have school all day whereas some can leave school in the evenings and could have spare time play. The problem is finding out the availability of each individual before hiring them and have them try to stick to a schedule as much as possible to cover a 24 hour day.
A lot of the admins now are online at the same times when we don't really need 5 admins online at once at roughly the same time every day. Now of course it's vaulentry work and they ain't obliged to do it but even when you do charity work shift are a thing , it's what keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
