Cave bats spawn rate increased?

I've been trynna mine a lot lately and I just realized that bats spawn fast af now. They used to spawn at an acceptable rate, like I could mine a rock without having a bat spawn and kill me, but now they spawn midway through the rock and I can't do ****

Is it just me? Or did the spawn rates actually get increased?

Pretty sure it got increased to help prevent macros, fair enough tbh.

Actually the bat spawn rate wasnt increased recently if anything over the past year we've brought it down, woodcutting had a higher spawn rate but maybe we can work on tuning it soon

. Which level where the bats spawning like crazy? It could be a bug with that level.

well pretty much E V E R Y level, but I usually mine underground, i can't mine more than about one rock until a bat spawns and kills me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
