graal programs on mac?
as you may be aware, Graalshop, the level editor, and the only program that i can use effectively to make graphics easily (paint.net) only work on pcs. they dont work on macs, which i have, and my old pc is gone and recycled. is there any way to convert pc programs to work on macs? like some way to run/convert it for free? i need to figure out how to get graalshop, paint.net, and the graal offline editor to work on mac. it needs to be easy (if not easy at least a one time process to convert it) and free. its very disappointing how although Stefan praises Steve Jobs and Apple, he doesnt make any of the necessary graal developing programs work on mac, effectively preventing a considerable percentage of users from being able to help make stuff for graal other than gfx or gp. as for scripting, i am not going to bother as it would take years to get good enough for it to be useful. |

As always: Offline editor: Gonstruct Gani editor: Use a scripted one on any server (like testbed) which got it uploaded Paint.net: I´m sure there are some good programs for mac aswell Else you should look around for a virtual computer which you can download. You computer will stay the same, it´s just a program which enables you to run different operating systems. |

i cannot go on pc servers and paint.net is the one i need as a load of my projects are saved as a file type only paint.net can open..

Its easy to convert files, but yes higbey ive had to cope with my... Mac.. Aswell, i hate it. None of the games i want to play work on it, half of the steam games dont work with mac, and everything achievable requires extra hassle to do. For GFXing i use paintbrush, its basically paint.net with your transparencies and colour wheels, GIMP works aswell but i find it more difficult and frustrating to deal with. Also MAC WAI U NO HAVE ROTATE IMAGE. I also found it amazing that macs are for graphics/movie making, yet imovie sucks as the default moviemaker and there is no default paint app. Also itd either called paintbrush or paintbucket i cant remember i just googled paint for mac . |

Virtualbox. Find it and download windows 8 consumer preview from Microsoft. Then install it in virtual box and enable virtualization in your Mac.
