Did the KSG Shotgun riot shield really ever at any time before gun rebalancing really protect you from bullets/damage? Or was it a "Block chance"%
and does the shield blocking damage still even exist or affect anything at all since after Gun Rebalancing.  

I think the shield was used to block a certain amount of damage. It isn't really going to protect you from full damage.  

It actually does protect (you'll still take damage), just at a -25% ratio.
I believe it still does exist.
Think of it as a really weak HW shield.

Yeah I figured later after tests that it had some minimal reduction like 4 damage reduction on a shipka, 1 damage reduction on an m4 and a 5 reduction on the 13 damage peacekeeper
