Every Christmas we get a metric **** ton of useless furniture and snacks when the players just want cool items like hats, non-garbage accessories, mounts, morphs, etc.

The way it's usually setup, it makes it seem like people are being encouraged to get as many gifts as possible as a way to increase their chances of getting something that's actually have decent. I get that from a business perspective this is ez money.

However, all of the sudden you can't buy Christmas gifts from the stalls past a certain point but you can still send gifts if you have them in your inventory. I don't really understand that, shouldn't it be so you can continue to buy gifts even after Christmas so long as you're able to give gifts? In other words, as long as people can receive gifts then the stalls should continue to sell.

...stop plugging a bunch of useless items in gifts so people can enjoy more of the cool hats available. And maybe get a bit creative with the presents, like cute snow angel ganis and all that good stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  

Almost certain that no one actually cares about the christmas food items which plague like 70% of gifts. I'd much rather a small and limited item pool with only player/staff hat, accessory and item submissions over the infinite amounts of food + furniture you get. Also a limit on how many recolours of a single item would be cool. Getting 5+ variations of a hat I know I won't wear just makes me feel bad for my friends who bought me the gifts.

Also I agree. Christmas specific gani's/other activities would be awesome. A couple of ideas I just came up with are:

1. A snowball throwing item. Your character rolls up a small one handed snowball then throws it. Could be used to have snowball fights in houses.
   
2. A campfire gani, Similar to che chair, but it places a campfire infront of your character and they hold their hands up to it to warn them. 3 other players could also use the gani near you and attatch to your campfire.
   
3. Ice skates. Just like the ones in snowtown, ice skates which you can equip and use everywhere to slide around.

Sure it would only make sense for these to work in the winter season but we can already use the autumn leaves effect whenever we want. If not though then this could also open up the doors to seasonal items.  

And bring back furniture selling. Even the tens of rudulph plushies I had left as back up cash in my furniture for years are now worth 2g instead of 2.5k

Bet it was something dumb like fixing duping, but then they just kept it at 1g or whatever to sink our money. They already know there's way too much furniture in gifts, loot boxes, etc.

Just as we were lied to about getting refund prices back, the menu lies to us as well.

Yeah that's kinda funny. A few people have noticed it as well but a 1 gralat difference doesn't even make it worth talking about.

Also I was only happy with one of the hats I got and ironically I was more excited about the accessories even though they're my least favourite part of the gifts due to them being reused old items.

Often times they don't add the files to gifts directly, they instead create a copy of the file, and rename it. So you have a fairly decent chance of getting the same accessory/hat twice. Nothing can be done about it, and that's pretty lame to get the same thing twice. But, I'm not complaining. I was lucky enough to get the hat back when it was sold, and I'm not against the idea of reusing old accessories/hats as Christmas gifts. Hell, even the old Christmas stockings from 2011(or 2012) that I made are still in gifts. I just wish hats and accessories couldn't stack like they do.

Nothing can be done about it, and that's pretty lame to get the same thing twice. But, I'm not complaining. I was lucky enough to get the hat back when it was sold, and I'm not against the idea of reusing old accessories/hats as Christmas gifts. Hell, even the old Christmas stockings from 2011(or 2012) that I made are still in gifts. I just wish hats and accessories couldn't stack like they do.

This also happened a year or two with those coloured glasses. But that time they replaced the duplicates with other accessories from the gifts.

It’s called ice boots but If you could get ice skates and buy different designs fort the ice skates that would be cool.

Idk, If I remember correctly, ice boots work differently to the skates in snow town. Don't really know how to explain it. But yeah I guess skates would be a pretty useless item.  

I have never agreed with a thread more  

Didn't get a single item I'll use or don't already have this time. Never mind paying 800g for a gift and having presents with 200-300g inside. Pretty pathetic... But it has been for ages. At least let us resell our junk furniture for 50%.  

Still waiting to get a compensation for getting the same hat and accessory two times.
