I've said time and time again in this thread that I agree that it is probably easier to spar on PC. I've never sparred on an iDevice really, but it seems reasonable to think so based on the keyboard, as a peripheral, vs. the touchscreen.

Again though, it can't be said any more plainly. How are you in any position to complain if you're making the choice to play using an iDevice and you queue up in a mixed spar room? I've never seen so many people whine about something that they can easily change. Kind of nuts to me. You either change it and reap these benefits that are apparently available to you, or you shut up and deal with it. Seriously, that simple.

So far, Comyt is the only voice on the iDevice side that should be taken seriously in this thread. He actually spars and knows the discussion at hand. It's just that the majority of us don't argue about advantages. If you tell me I have an advantage because I'm on PC, I tell you you're stupid for sparring on an iPod and putting yourself at a disadvantage. If you don't own a PC, then tough luck. I don't care. That doesn't change my preference and I'm just going to keep playing the game.

only for strafing now, every other excuse against pcs doesn't make sense at all, and they're just acts of desperation by lame idevices here who don't have a strong enough argument. probably because every idevice on these forums sucks at spar and doesn't realize that pcs can be defeated, they actually believe the stuff they are saying.

Yeah, that's cool. That is why I have a certain amount of respect for you, Kevin91, Tae, and maybe two or three other iDevice players who spar actively. Even if sometimes one of those players does throw out the PC excuse, it's probably just out of frustration.

Some people choose to spar by iDevice because they just like it more, even though they know it might put them at a mechanical disadvantage. Some obviously may not have PCs, etc. I respect the ones who spar against PC players and don't cry 24/7, because I understand that it's probably difficult for them. I respect them but it's not like I feel bad for them. It's a game and you're supposed to play to win. I'm not giving anyone a handout just because they wanna spar on an iPod.

It's rarely the good iDevice sparrers who complain about sparring against PC players, anyway. Just overall though, for anyone who does, it makes no sense. You can't complain about something you have the freedom to change or do something about. And anyone who does complain shouldn't expect a PC sparrer to switch to an iDevice, either. Some people just need to man up or try switching devices. There's no other alternative, unless they want to keep crying on a forum and losing.

If you never have a iDevice, what's the point of arguing? There's no point. Its a waste of time in my opinion. It goes both ways regarding to the last comment. I'm pretty sure everyone have a PC right now(how do you find Graalonline/Graalians anyways?).  

A big part of the argument is probably that iDevice players feel sort of cheated or something, considering iClassic was put out on iDevice first. It took a while for it to come to Facebook. So, a bunch of iDevice players get familiar with sparring against other iDevice players and are probably crushing it for a long time. Then, a bunch of experienced players from PC Graal come to Facebook and a few of them start beating on people.

I can understand how that is frustrating and might leave people feeling sour about the situation, but the fact remains that we're both given the same options. It's just how it is. These people should be mad at Graal, not mad at any player who decides to play by PC.

I have yet to see a legitimate/proper explanation of why PC players have an advantage over iOS sparrers besides the ability to strafe. Everyone claims to have provided sufficient evidence, however they have been shut down every single time and continue to think they're right.

Keyboard controls and delay are 2 big things you decided to ignore.
They have yet to be shut down.

Heres my analogy of this entire thread;

Thallen is throwing flaming fireballs at the iDevice players and they're simply dousing the flames with a water gun that doesn't replenish its ammo. When Thallen takes a break from breathing out fireballs, they quickly shoot their water guns only to realize hes a ****ing fire breathing freak and their attacks are futile. However, due to the sheer amount of iDevice players, the water tank of the gun is constantly being replenished, not by ingenuity, rather sheer **********. Due to the endless battle, ashes created have littered the ground, the arguments becoming a time of the past, still existing, but forgotten by everyone.

Here's my analogy of you: You're similar to a fat kid on a baseball team who strikes out every at bat for one game, but the team still wins that game. Then, the fat kid feels the need to gloat and say to the other team "HAHA YOU SUCK WE WON", when the kid had absolutely no significant contribution to the win, this is how significant you have been to this thread. You seem to think Thallen won, and keep posting kiss ass posts as if you contributed.

I have never come across this in all my years of playing, including PC vs. iPhone, on both ends of the situation. I can actually present the same half-assed argument about iPhones walking through hitboxes with the same amount of evidence as you put out. Although, I don't present this as an argument because it would be dumb and easily disproven. It really just looks like people expect others to just agree with whatever their own opinion is on a topic nowadays.. x_x

That's like saying you've never sparred laggers in general, any lagger does what I just said. My evidence? My eyes, the only evidence needed. If you truly have never seen this before then getting your eyes looked at by an eye doctor wouldn't be a bad idea.

iOS players have the advantage, there engine is much more efficient since the pc one runs on flash, and the pc one is extremely glitchy and barely supported nowadays, many new features like music blocks don't even work on pc.

The only person arguing that ios players have the advantage lol.

You've realized that you are not a good sparrer and create a fantasy land in your own mind where you are a great sparrer simply because you use a certain device to spar on.

• Someone will come into the thread claiming that PC is an advantaged device, completely ignoring everything I've just said
• Someone will come into this thread claiming that they spar on iDevice so it's "fair", completely ignoring everything I've just said
• Someone will come into this thread suggesting I defy their own logic by sparring on an iDevice, completely ignoring everything I've just said
• Very bad sparrers (such as GOAT, Ash Ketchum, Goten) will never be able to take responsibility for how bad they are at this game and blame themselves rather than the rules
• I will continue winning spars while the aforementioned players are upset, confused, and in denial over their own failures in a 5-button game

The argument has been over and won for the longest time, I am just being very generous and taking my time with multiple different vantage points to try and convince a few people how very unintelligent and uncompetitive they are. I recommend Graal dating, button-mashing at forts, and collecting hats.

thallen, continue degrading everyone who continues to argue for the idevice side. i'm tired of seeing horrible players acting like they know anything about sparring, they're an embarrassment to those of us that are actually good.  

No excuses. You can't feel cheated when you have a PC yourself.
Morale of the story: Don't let games get the best of you. At the end of the day, no one really cares about who's #1. It's about having fun and making Graal a great place to play.

I'm just trying to convince people of certain things that seem obvious to me. It hasn't worked though, and overall it has been a huge waste of my time. I'm probably a fool for wasting so much time and effort in trying to convey my viewpoints to people who obviously won't accept them.

Yeah, it's cool to respect people, but he is completely right. Ash Ketchum, GOAT, and GotenGraal have zero experience. They are not even relevant in the sparring community. I've literally only heard of them from this forum.

Having an opinion is cool, but why hold an opinion about something you don't know much about? If someone asks me what the best brand of tampons is, I'm not saying a word. I can't relate to that.

That being said, why would I waste time scrolling up to read GotenGraal's last post when Comyt came into the thread and made a post that was easy to read with very clear points. You have to excuse me for being more interested in the opinion of actual sparrers.
