I'd really like to get the Cowboy, Indian, and Bandit NPCs addressed. Due to the way Graal is(in it's 2-D form), removing a 360 degree shot is nearly impossible if they are meant to work correctly. If they're shooting at a moving target, the odds are that they'll miss because they won't know at what point to shoot at. A 4-way shooting system really won't work and the current 360 degree system isn't working at all.
Although it adds a bit more theme to this server, it just isn't and won't work out. It's best to remove them.

Fun pointless idea but I always wanted this on era- Naughty players who break the rules and are jailed, actually appear in the jail on Ol west where anyone can go in and see them, maybe throw rotten tomatoes at them or something. The jailed people cannot do anything but walk around their cell like the normal jails

Um, not meaning anything rude here, but I see a breach here for hackers(Hack disrupts everything). If Everyone can go and see the naughty players in Jail through one entry point, then there's a chance for them to get out through a wall-walking hack which only admins have if they're hackers.
Suggested solutions : I think there should be an admin in the Jail during that time or only visiting them when an admin permits and teleports them to the Jail.
Besides this, the other ideas are great

Unless you worked on Ol West you don't really have any right to say that kind of thing, I know it is probably intended as a joke but people like shiz have been working on it for quite awhile and it just isn't nice to say it's bad when it has only just came out and they still have the opportunity to address the issues

Currently I feel like the npcs predict where I am moving before I have decided myself, as the always get hits on me when I run past and are impossible to kill up close.
Reducing their walk speed and firerate gives more of a chance and it isn't ridiculous like it is now- I've seen one bandit on a quarter hp kill two players by itself before a third killed it  

Someone fixed the baddies or did something so they don't warp as much. Or at least thats what I have seen while playing it yesterday, they still do warp a bit when you get super close.

As previously said, a big problem is walk speed. Sometimes I find myself attempting to do moves to dodge a few bullets (a couple of moves that work successfully with speed boost) but i run into bullets instead. When I went back to iEra and got speed boost, I felt like i was going faster then ever. Hopefully the walk speed is increased or there could be a way to boost your speed implemented.  

Add quests so that players have something to do other than riding a horse and killing players who exit the graveyard with the repeater.

You can easily prevent this with a little GS2 Magic
The solution I had for this in my jail was a temporary, maybe not efficient but certainly effective door that only warped players who were not jailed through. Upon a jailed member touching the door their time increased by an hour and they got warped straight back into the centre.

That's really cool haha!

Think you can point me to a good guide to learning GS2?  

I was thinking maybe when you kill Bandits, Cowboys, War Indians, etc. You could, like in Classic get a gralat drop with some dynamites or something of the sort. Maybe add a "Baddies killed" in your status.

Also something I really despise is the politically incorrect "Indians," in which these people were actually Native Americans, I'd much prefer if they'd change it to Natives, as it is still in it's early release. That's just me though.

So I actually want this server to survive because I like the theme, and if nothing is done asap it will most likely be a repeat of what happened to Zone.
Here are a few things I think should be implemented to differentiate Ol West from its era counter part and other graal servers.

Day/Night system- For 24 minutes the game is how it is now, but for 12 minutes it becomes nighttime and more difficult mobs appear such as witches (If anyone has played that gameloft cowboy themed game Six-Gun they would get this- it was actually a pretty fun game)

'Nerf' the bandits- remove the 360 shooting ability they have, or half their firerate times and make them walk slower.

No revive potion- If you die in the overworld you are sent to the graveyard, adds more difficulty to the game, makes the npcs a threat when travelling around because at the moment it is 'oh an npc, ohwell it killed me, 'respawn' run off'. In bases if you die you just respawn outside the base

Minigames- small minigames to play in the bar, could approach it in a similar way to the era arcade games but western themed

Roleplay elements- Things such as having to go to the saloon to drink and eat once every hour of being online, forces people to stop what they are doing at one point and attend to their player, adds more depth to your character, and could lead to more interactions (also actually gives a cafe/bar in graal a use for the first time- classic had a good attempt at the small shop that you could buy drinks from near castle). Failing to eat anything from the saloon for more than an hour causes your character to run slightly slower, (maybe for the first 15minutes after eating you get a speed increase similar to the era gym boost, but more limited)

Random events- Not sure what of yet, i'd assume a war for something, maybe money? But between the 'indian' and cowboy factions, having to fight somewhere- gives more purpose to the factions

More jobs- this one isn't needed as there undoubtably will be more on the way

Say what you think of those ideas so they can get some attention, post any other ideas you have. Now is the best and probably only time to try suggest changes when the game is still new, otherwise it will end up being to late to change anything and the playerbase may have left by then

I liked all your ideas, specially the Jail system one. I would like to throw rotten eggs on them

Well, if you even read the first sentence of his post, which apparently you didn't, he said he wants the server to really succeed. Also, I'm pretty sure Sam is aware that the server is supposed to be similar to era. I don't understand your logic though, it's not supposed to be exactly like era. It's supposed to have it's own exclusive content, nobody wants to play a game that's exactly like era.

Maybe instead of you being inside the same room as the convicts, what if it mirrored the image of the people in the actual cells into the apparent cells, rather than actually being in the cells.

since there's a lot of NPC's yeah, the Fire rate and walk speed should be reduced, it's like war everywhere but if that is what the game meant to be, i'm fine with it, I only sit or spar tho.
