Guess what, if you go to Fort Knox at 3am and find out that there is a hole in the back wall, and sneak in... They're gonna shoot your ass. They don't care if you found an "exploit" and was able to freely walk in. They don't care if it's their fault that their security was a little lacking. That's just the way the world works, and all games work. You're responsible for your account, and any game has the right to suspend access at any time. It doesn't matter if the game has glitches, you're expected to report such glitches, not exploit them. Any other online game holds the same exact stance on glitching and mechanic exploits.

Glitching is abusing a bug in the game, this can lead to giving players access to unreleased areas where shops are being created, or it culd be a buggy level and crash the server when a player enters it. A game will never be free of bugs and glitches, as nothing in this universe can be truly perfect. Players are banned for this because of it not only being annoying to staff, but it can give unfair advantages such as immunity from player weapon fire, seeing unreleased things, etc. However, the banning system is extremely corrupt. The consequence of volunteer, unpaid staff is low work ethic and actions taken for personal reasons. A player could be friends with a staff member and possibly get them to ban someone they think abuses the system, but they really just suck and beat the kid alot. One example of this is duke, hes never banned yet i hear multiple acounts of him abusing the system, stealing accounts and boosting like crazy. Thats the manner in which staff banning is abused. |
