In Pokemon (Ash), I've been thinking.
Does everyone suddenly become immortal to dying of old age as soon as they hit a certain age? Maybe they're ghosts...

A poem, for all of you.

Ash is the devil of Pokemon....
I see the children...running in their Ash Costumes...
I See hell when I look into his eyes.
I want to burn his insides and kill him, yet I can't...
Too many children, worshiping this demon...
He gains power...every year...by these imbeciles that thinks he can train well.

So...please Japan.
Give us Red, give us Green, give us Blue (my favorite manga character)...
Then continue with Gold...Sliver...and Crystal.
I...no, WE need this anime to last, for years. Death to Ash, and all associated with him.

... This looks like a rip off of the original. I seriously see Gary, Professor Oak, and Brock. I prefer Ash from the original series. I stopped watching after they changed the voices and got rid of Misty.  

What exactly is it going to do differently?

Episode 1 Title: Red walks in circles in tall grass for 5 hours.
Episode 2 Title: Red Decides to catch a second party member.

Really? I stopped watching after I saw how much a crap trainer he was. He couldn't control his Pikachu. I could make my Torchic Listen when I started.

In the manga, 'Gary' was actually called 'Blue', and there was a third character, a girl who was called 'Green'.
And almost in all aspects, Red is much better than Ash.
For one, he actually ages.

Green is "Gary" and the girl is Blue not Green. It was To make it feel like the original games, but keep in mind the Japanese Games were Red and Green. Red for the Hero, and Green is the rival. Trivia: the girl Blue, once was going to be the female hero you could play as.

Weird coincidence, the only shiny pokemon I've ever caught was a shiny Ratticate

I did too in my LeafGreen. Got very lucky on that file. Shiny Meowth (by Celadon) and Raticate (Pokemon Mansion).
