I mean, if you want to do that then feel free, but that's an awful lot of unnecessary time wasted when you could just win the proper way. You know until yesterday you could prevent a loss by doing the same exact thing, how come you'd never do that? |

I can certainly see this changing the way guild spar works specifically. It really puts a lot of pressure on the early spar (at least for people looking to exploit) because you can, as mentioned, hit once then run, making the other guy put in work. I think this would overall make spar more interesting, and this is coming from a teammate of Eko, who so famously tied 1v3 to help pull out a GsT win using the method that now doesn't work.

plenty of smart people were using the old ties to their advantage, as they should be Sarah used it vs. 5pa4 just last GST, it's just good strategy if it's something that's allowed within the game I'm sure people will do the same with this system, but I don't see that as a problem because this way makes a lot more sense to me if the winning player wins or it actually forces the losing player to initiate a spar if they want a chance to win - forcing the winning player into a bad position or face a tie seems wrong to me a lot of people on my team don't agree with the change (possibly because they feel that previous way benefited them more), but I think it's the right way to do it even delayers will soon realize that there are obvious benefits to this |

Following up: Sarah just told me she 20%'d and didn't get warped from spar, did you fix that as well? Also, she is claiming that if a player is in GS and they pause, if their team wins the pop-up notification will say that the team has lost. |
