Heres my tips: - Move in a C Motion while hitting sword button at the end of the C. - Go to the top wall and hit the opponent while facing left or right - Dont go to the corners cause they have chances of you getting stuck - Stay Near the center but dont wall cause they will just say Waller if they lose. - Go to the center if the Person is walling. - If Opponent is walling you should probrably wall too... why? cause it pisses them off XwX - Start running if they spam cause its funny that there are chasing you while hitting the sword button continuously. - If the opponent is cornering you should like stop moving cause its funny that they stay at the corner. - dont spar there are continuously ****loads of hackers, laggers, and alt accounts. |

a few tiny things from someone who was widely considered as "the best sparrer" at one point: - most players use defensive "C-style" sparring and will tell you to use it. i don't even know what this is honestly and never cared to find out. so here is a very short guide to you possibly becoming an offensive sparrer: - when you enter into spars, try to rush at people and circle around them. at first, you will probably lose a lot and get frustrated, but if you get past this, you will become much better at it and able to take on many different sparrers. - as you spar more and more, you will realize that a lot of sparrers respond to your movements in different ways, and their next action will become very predictable. this will take you quite a while, though. - learn about the functions of "blink" and use it against people. i will attempt to explain them here but you really need to test them yourself to understand. blinking: - when you are hit, you are given a short period of invincibility, there are a few ways to end this. 1. time running out. not sure exactly how long it lasts before you lose it, but you should get used to it just by sparring a lot. 2. swinging your sword. if you press your sword button, your period of invincibility is over. 3. changing your direction. this is the most complicated one to understand. if you run towards someone with invincibility and press another arrow, switching from your original direction, your invincibility will go away. also, if you run towards someone and stop moving altogether, this counts as a change in direction and will end your invincibility period. this probably makes no sense at all, so just test it out against someone in your guild house or something. hopefully this helps since it is from someone experienced, who actually knows what they are talking about when it comes to sparring. i also hope this somewhat made sense, as i understand it is really hard to comprehend and i am not the best at explaining things. bye. |

Any technique that works for you is fine, because some people aren't good at sparring with only one method— for instance, not everyone is good at the C-technique. But when you use a technique, think about how others can flaw it. If you thought of many ways that the opponent can flaw you, then the technique may not be right for you. Make sure you have some backup techniques though, in case you lose to your opponent the first time using a method. I'm not the best sparred but im not the worst so I'll have a go Firstly you have to pick if you want to be a defensive or a offensive spatter. This decision should be made by trying both methods out and see which one you actually prefer but you should also add lag as a conciderstion as it can greatly affect the spar. moving technique wise there is the commonly used c shape which can be a good technique but if you use it I recommend to mix IT with something else as your moves can become predictable Some people use the diagonal technique which consists of mostly moving in diagonal ways as it make you look like it's moving faster ( it doesn't actually ) and can confuse many players if used correctly , again a good method but the more you mix it up the less predictable u become . Stoping method , not a lot of players use this method but what they basically do is stay still and way until the opponent is about about to attack and then they quickly doge and hit , the method is purely based on predictions but it can be affective if used corecrly The most important thing is to mix it up and spar a lot until you kinda develop your own technique that you feel good using , a lot of players have slot preferences which can help some players so you can also try and creating sparring slots May be some / a lot of grammar mistakes in this as I wrote it using a iOS dev but hope I helped in some way or another |
