After putting some thought into it, there should be a requirement for gst since to spar in Battle Arena you do need 24 hours of game time. If a requirement isn't added however then the ones in charge of gst should have registrations close by a certain day, then look into the rosters of the teams and then having it hosted.

it seems alright to admins when banned players use noob accounts to play until the ban ends(or at least appears to me that they don't mind).

Graal doesnt want you playing the game at all when youre banned. Thats the point of it. I think the ban evasion detector is still used. It seems like graal police are okay with people using noob accounts, because its so easy to get around the system. And even if someone who knows that youre supposed to be banned catches you online a noob account, its difficult to have proof that youre the same person, unless you used the same device/ip.  

We should be very thankful that graal is playing easy on us with bans. Trust me RS bans = just makes you quit the game.

I dunno how you can be proud of winning or placing in a tournament if you did it by cheating
if you don't think it's cheating or you don't think there's anything wrong with it, then consider the fact that you could be facing teams that actually did follow the rules and didn't use their banned players

the weirdest part is that when you call people out for participating while banned, people turn it around as if you're trying to get some unfair advantage or as if you're the one doing something wrong

every guild who has ever done it and been caught after the fact should have their guild tag banned from entering future GSTs
not that it's a huge punishment but at least it's something

I don't see how having a guild tag banned would do much though... it's not as if people can't just make a new tag.

A lot of teams make new tags all the time for every gst.

this would be pretty nice especially for "spar" guilds who repeatedly use banned players, leader of VIS admitted himself in a Skype call that almost every gst his team uses a banned player simply because they don't give a **** if they get caught.

bro, the day after the GST they're already standing around the Battle Arena gossiping about who will join which team for the for the tournament 89 days later  

Bottom line is nothing will be done unless the admins in charge of gst actually give a ****.  

banned players should be allowed to participate unless their ban is for hacking/cheating, makes the gst more competitive. would rather beat a team like core: comyt, sarah, kouji, noss, eddy that are all banned and win a gst than have an easy mode gst win with scrubs such as alumnidev and david mambas teams as the "competition"  

I think if you're banned, you shouldn't be able to compete because you're banned from graal.. and the gst is apart of graal lol. I also think there should be a online time rule such as only 24hr+ can compete and some spar stats of any kind can only join.  

Alumni iDev beat Sage (well, they were hiding behind the Memory tag) while following the rules and not using our 2 banned players and we even subbed out Sarah in the finals because she was excessively lagging, so I think that's a pretty poor argument

It's not that hard to not get banned and it's not that hard to follow the rules
Evading ban is against the rules in the first place so it's pretty derpy to even suggest they should be allowed to participate in a GST

you mean alumnidev beat memory, a team of rusty players and some who were not even in sage. ex: ijesus (yurhomi recruited him to sage, wasn't even me), soyi????? lol.

i do think banned players should be allowed to participate in the gst and personally see it as extremely dumb that someone can even miss a gst just because they have a 3 month ban for typing the word "****" (edited: s...) which isn't even censored (in-game), and having the 12 year old staff members actually see it for once.
