1) Noah's ark. Read the passage. He took 1 of everty animal, male and female as well as his family. That means when everything died in the flood all that was left was noah and his family and the animals. So doesn't that mean that we are all imbreading? And I am sure one of the 10 commandments has something to do with infedelity.

Humans were told specifically by God to multiply and disperse. For a giant part of early history, humans were allowed to have marriages and children within their families. It wasn't until God told Moses of the ten commandments that this became inappropriate and was banned. I guess by that time people had reached big enough numbers and God wanted people to be pure To answer your question, yes, we are technically imbreeding, but the ten commandments only calls for close family, not your billionth cousin or so that people are marrying today.

An interesting theory of mine is that dinosaurs were wiped out during the flood. I also think that the tectonic plates shifting very quickly may have taken place during the flood; "all the springs of the great deep burst forth" is stated by the Bible, which sounds kind of like the continents breaking lose and drifting. Of course, this isn't supported by scripture, but you know

2) In the garden of Eden, Eve said that a snake told her to eat the apple and the snake was the devil. A snake or serpant I am not sure. The problem with this passage is, if th Devil is as strong as the bible makes him out to be, how come you don't hear about animals talking telling you to sin more often? Also, how is it known for sure that that even happened? There are no "writings" from that era, maybe some caveman drawings. Also it is said the apple gave man and woman knowlege. Why the hell were cavemen so dumb then?

The apple gave mankind the knowledge of good and evil, not knowledge of what you learn in school and such. Before that time the world was blissful and without sin, but once Eve ate the apple she became weary of the evil and was suddenly overridden with sin.

Also, my cat always tells me to sin on a daily basis.

also ive had this thought many times. There are more religious people than secular in the world. Do atheists really think the majority of the world is stupid for believing in a religion? (rhetorical)("stupid" used loosely)

I wouldn't put it as crudely as that but yes most do believe religion invokes narrow minded thinking and unreason.

I think people are stupid for believing in something that will determine how to live their life, how it goes and whatnot purely on whether or not a 2000 year old book written in the time where the common belief was that the earth was flat, suspended on pillars, and that there was a god for near everything. I think it is stupid for them to settle with "God" as an answer and go no further than that, I think it is stupid that they prosecute ones for not agreeing with their beliefs. I do not think it is stupid to believe in a God, or for that matter Gods, or Godesses. Furthermore I don't care what they believe in as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others who don't share the same ideology, no matter how many do believe it is right because their God says so. Well that went astray rather fast....  

My bump is justified because religion is always an interesting thing to discuss and debate about and it seems this board isn't active much anyhow, and making a new thread would be redundant. I am kind of bored so I wanted to start things up again.

You should provide specific examples of science disproving religion.

If anything, the extreme complexity that is being found in things such as cells and atoms makes a God even more and more likely. The only "scientific" evidence I've heard is that it all magically came together. Please provide some evidence against what I'm saying...

I never claimed anything that science has absolutely disproven anything. But I don't get how complexity makes a God even more likely though, because the basis of religion has never been on science.

I think when you say "magically came together" you are just using your own words.  

"They say the best trick the devil played on humanity, was to convince the world he didn't exist." I heard that from somewhere, I thought it was an interesting quote. Also, it turns out that religious people tend to live more happier lives than non religious people do. Not that non religious people aren't happy, but since most religions teach a value system that encourage helping one another and kindness to all, they tend to feel more accomplished and self rewarded with their deeds.

By more likely, I think he means probability wise. Things usually just don't happen because "they happen". There's almost always a reason for it. Computers don't just fall out of the sky made out of all the iron, copper and all those ores from astroroids colliding together so many times to form a working computer. The more likely scenario would be that somebody created the computer and for some reason dropped it from the sky, rather self creation.  

I think the most plausible scenario if there'd be a God is that God would've just simply set everything in motion a.k.a the big bang, but that itself is barely what makes religion influence people.

There's no need to prove gods existence.
Religions are based on believing and it really shouldn't bother any cocky atheist like OP, if some people gain strength from believing in god.
