im not saying that the tiles are bad, just that it doesnt seem worthy of being paid or something, unless super low rate

also wouldnt justify the amount of time it took to make

i like the wall tiles alot, it seems to have potential in diverse combinations

the rocktiles are very unpolished however

all blackfire said was that the new map was gonna have the same functions but just a different map meaning only one thing changed, but it'll be sad once the name is changed, we may forget, this game is gonna be nothing but a ghost game soon with no one left if someone in charge doesnt take a stand like idk someone like unixmad.

It would be so much better if there was like a constant gif of a meteor shower in the background. theres a lot of things that we could think of to make the new map better.

Talking about pull and push etc whatever happened with THE FORCE and other tactical weapons. Pretty sure that weapon was like 2nd in zone first poll(that sabre won) and the weapon was never released.. ik it's not like so great but is pretty unique and gives a tactical aspect slightly that would be great.

"the force" wasnt really invented by starwars though, a lot of futuristic games have some advanced psi abilities and the likes

but itd be cool if an approach like this was made, to get away from just shooting people or those big ass spears

Recently another screenshot was taken of the map and was put in the news.

I don't have the picture but it basically showed the entire map (I think). If you wanna see it you should either look on Facebook or go on Era and Zoom in (Or classic but when you zoom in there it just loads forever)

It shows nothing new, just demonstrates their map design for spring.

And it's uhm.... very chaotic.

Not sure how they expect that map to work out with 360 shooting.

Also doesn't look like they thought it through at all considering the right side has a **** load of more obstacles on their side which will allow them to
1) travel to the other platforms faster
2) dodge bullets easier because the obstacles will act as cover

I think this will be pretty one-sided (much like the original spring, when considering the ladder screwed over the right side if you poisoned/lava them) and very chaotic.

Tbh, idc about the tileset anymore knowing that gfx team has never been great since 2015. What matters is if the new spring would be as enjoyable as the old one. The new map looks more like parkour than a battle arena. Idk if it will be bad or good and it's to early to judge. I'm just happy that big changes that can potentially improve the server are being made unlike the last few years.

The problem is they've been making these changes for the past few years, just not releasing them. Half of the "new" tileset was already made and finished years ago under Tashkin's management. Unixmad screwed over any chance at real updates by playing Manager Roulette for the past year and a half. Changing the layout of spring and using the "new" tileset (95% of which is shown in the new Spring picture was already made under Tashkin's management) is not a major update at all. In fact, it looks more like filler in order to stall for time while portraying the appearance that things are actually happening.
