I don't hate on Justin Bieber, I just don't listen to his music. I understand why so many people dislike him, though. Pretty immature way to think in my opinion.

People hate on him because he's very famous with his average music when there are a lot more talented people out there. I'm not saying he's a bad kid, but I don't really think it's fair how he's one of the most known singers out there with his average music.

He sounds like a girl. No joke. Once my history teacher put a song on by him, and didn't tell us what it was. I had never heard his songs before, but had seen the internet hate of him. I actually thought it was a girl that she put on and made the statement "whats this name of her? Shes not that great of a singer." Then a bunch of girls got all upset and told me it was Justin Beiber. I LOLd.

I had always thought the internet's portrayal of him was greatly exaggerated, but I was wrong when I actually heard him. The internet was dead on describing his voice.

There was some funny jokes people made about him. (A few years ago) Now it is the same ol "The dislike bar is the size of JB's *****." I honestly think it is rather annoying, and I have found a few songs by him that aren't too bad. Not that I would put them on my iPod or anything but, they are okay. I just think it is annoying when people go out of their way to make bad jokes about him, even the good ones are annoying now.

I think it is even more annoying when people harass others for liking him, and not just him but any musician really.

Hate is a strong word. I can honestly say I hate the "somebody i used to know"-song by gotye. It started as something that I just disliked, then i got forced to hear it over and over because it got so ****ing popular that i started to hate it. Same goes for gagnam style...

If you're forced to see/hear something you dislike everyday you start to hate on it. Same goes with Bieber.

I don't understand why people think it is fun (or relevant) to hate on him. It is always on Facebook, it's on every single YouTube video's comments. In fact, it is pretty much everywhere online and I just don't get it.

I've seen a few times that he's been interviewed and he does seem to have an annoying arrogance about himself, but that doesn't affect me in the slightest. It certainly doesn't come into my head when I'm looking up Final Fantasy VII videos, so why is he mentioned?! His song that is brought up the most is 'Baby' and that came out in 2010. It's a catchy tune, but I can see why it isn't for everyone (lol) ..but that was nearly three years ago. His hair is also a popular topic, but he hasn't had that hairstyle for years now either. In fact, he's a good looking chap, and I don't see where people think he looks like a girl because he doesn't. He might be a manufactured pop act, but so is everyone else in the charts.

So... someone please give me a valid reason for this crap. I am more annoyed by the people obsessing over hating him than I am by him. I can turn off his songs, but I can't hide the comments that are posted everywhere.

I cannot agree more. I guess it's just 'cool' to make fun of him because everyone else does it.

Also just to note, the increasing uniformity in pop music is making the music industry over all less and less talented. Justin Bieber isn't an exception considering how "Safe" and soulless his music usually is.

I've felt this way for awhile. I think it's mostly a bandwagon thing. The minute something becomes a popular opinion, everyone hops on board and blindly follows the crowd. People do the same with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Nickelback, etc.

This has actually been a pet peeve of mine for awhile. I understand that there is a lot of terrible "artistry" in the mainstream music scene, but I just don't understand why everyone has to be annoying about it. I would kind of understand it if all of the "haters" didn't listen to similar sounding stuff, but a lot of them do. Which goes to show that it's a mostly crowd following.

I just wish people would listen to what they like without complaining about what they don't like. Music is a matter of opinion and different people are drawn to different sounding music. I'm just sick of all these insecure people trying to be cool, which I think is the cause of the problem.
