I like this idea of getting paid to tower. Other games have that same kind of system where you get a different kind of currency that allows you to buy rarer things in that game. But maybe it should just start out as a trail over a month or so. I'm just affraid at the rate at which a select few guilds are able to keep there towers so much so that the tower its self is known as that guilds tower i.e. DW=vintage Castle=Son that the points gaining would be to lopsided on the other hand because of that more ppl might band together and stay in guilds for the long haul and not band wagon jump. I was wondering about the current reward system anyways. Does anybody know if there any reward milestone after 10k? or does your time stop at 10k? Or could you go on if you choose just for the sake of trying to take the top spot on the leader board? I can't see my current guild going past 1k, and i don't plan on sticking around if the leader wants to. Not because I wanna go chase hats but because I couldn't stand some of the ppl in my guild for another 9k hours. I'm sure I am not the only one that have ppl in there guild they don't like and that's why they leave. |

doode, ive only been on three guilds. One of them quit after 1.5k because our leader went to college. My second guild quit at 10k and my 3rd guild only has 17hrs. Does that make me a hat chaser? THATSSSS THE MOST RIDICULOUS ARGUMENT EVERRRRRRRRRR..what about pulse? they quit at 1k, are they considered a hat chaser? |

It sounds good but with the current towering system this will not work atm. If they could work it out it would be good for the game. Unless they make signifigant changes giving points for having unenterupted extended tower time wont work. however they could possibly give points for taking towers and keeping it for a short time period with out losing the tower. lets say you have to take and keep a tower for 10-15 minutes straight to get a point and only get points for taking and keeping the tower for a short time period. To make it more interesting only 1-2 certain towers give these points and which tower gives the points randomly rotates every hour. If your in a tower and the hour is about to expire but you still have time left before you can earn your point your time keeps going till you win the point or if your guild loses the tower before the time is reached. just to cut down on cheap boosting and you can't gain points if your retaking a tower from an ally guild. Perhaps they could put a guild shop in one of the empty houses or in Mod town where you can buy select items with your guild points or did you mean to just add a second form of currency like in all ftps? that you can use to buy any item at a lesser amount but is harder to come by? a point system could be more viable if they had more guild based activities, or a guild challenge system with certain rules and restrictions. where your guild leaders can send out challenges to other guilds and they must be against non allied guilds, and your guild cannot compete in more than 1 activity at a time, can only challenge guilds no more than 3 ranks higher or lower than your guild your guild only gets 1/3 the points for a win against a lower ranked guild and a loss to a lower ranked guild will result in no points gained. i have seen to many games where players cheap boost by "farming noob guilds" at the bottom of the ranks for easier wins=more points. couple ideas for guild activities: *Guild spar challenge-Instead of having a seasonal gst just have single or team spar tourney. For a guild challenge break down a guild spar into 1 on 1 spars with 1 random member from each guild sparing against each other a win gets your guild 3 points and just 1 point for a loss and the guild with the most points at the end of the spar challenge gets an added point bonus. the base for this is already there and not nearly as many ppl spar when the gst is over. or stick with the current group spar format and the winning guild gets like 10 points +2 bonus points for each member still standing at the end of the spar and the losing guild gets 5 points for each round in a best of 3. *Guild pk challenge- add together pks from all your guild members and compare them to a challenging guild for a certian time period 1-24 hours and which ever guild gets the most total pks for that time period wins bonus points for each participating player. each player of winning guild gets 1 point per pk they got each member of losing guild gets 1 point per half there pk total added up so if they get 3 pks they get 2 points. could make it more chaotic by making it so if you get pkd by a member of challenging guild you lose a pk point. *Guild CTF- make it so your guild leads have to register a team and get 1 point each for capturing other guilds flag. maybe best of 3 matches winning guild gets like 50 points losing guild gets 10. *Guild fort challenge- each guild gets a certain number of players so its equal the guild that makes the challenge gets to choose to attack or defend. each guild will take turns attacking a tower defended by the other guild broken into time periods like guild A has 5 minutes to take the fort from guild B and if they are successful guild B has 5 minutes to get the fort back or they lose the round. or make it just like the team fort event but for guilds and as a series of matches. you could do this with sumo, & freeze tag as well. you could do guild r + j with the first guild to get all its members to the finish line gets a point. +1 point for each member of opposing guild who didnt make it to the finsh |

Just make the leaderboard reset seasonally like the spar streak and archery record. That way being number 1 is actually competed for but your total hours still show on your guild just not total leaderboard.now guilds will have an incentive to get #1 and that way hats wouldn't be the main objective if you have to add a hat prize. Then it should go to the guild who's #1 & #2 for the season. that way, only 8 hats go out a year and they preserve their prestige as a guild hat.

If you asked me if most murders in the US are caused by guns then ya i'd agree. Anyway, YOU said that all guilds only did it for the 1k hat. Thats like saying that 'a crap ton of people' only PK for the big number on their profile. edit: wowowowowo thats the dumbest comparison ever. Its not even near your previous statement. "Because there are a crap ton of guilds that reach 1K and just give up" "So, if I said guns kill people, are you going to assume I'm saying that every person ever killed died by a gun?" how did you get the idea of guns from guilds? itss sooo irrelevant to the topic. Cant tell if you're just stalling the argument because you know im right or really being serious. that question is soooooooo bias too... you're not really giving me an option. Obviously i would say no. IF YOU ASKED ANYONE ON THE FORUMS THEY'D SAY NO.

You fall short on the "not being an idiot" requirement. Good luck. |

You assumed I meant every guild that has quit was due to the 1K guilds. If this is true, my analogy on the guns is true. It may have been a bad idea to mention guns to an idiot. Now it's going insane over gun laws. Go ahead and show me where I said that. |
