No, that's not correct. It's not a visual issue. Furniture vases, and the majority of vases around Graal now drop hearts very infrequently. Dusty said this was an intended change, but the rate at which they're dropping hearts is abysmal. People use the vases in houses to heal. No one wants to have to throw 12 vases just to fully heal. Like I said, you're free to go see for yourself. Go to the gnome house/cave in north swamptown and throw the vases the way you normally would to quickly heal. Then go to Azrael's Nightclub in Graal City and do the exact same thing with the vases there. The difference will be extremely obvious.  

I don't really understand how the ammount of heart spawned from vases affect your gameplay experience.

Must be a client thing. Whenever I break a vase I always get healed up, even if a heart doesn't spawn.

No offense about the Vases but, I think they made it like that to make the Codeshops lesser. Means less codeshop less lag? (correct me if I am wrong) Those vases are used to be a maze in the house as gralat farming using such bomb and more (for I am sure).

My biggest issue with the current state of Classic is less about lack of content (especially since Nexus was fantastic), but rather the ridiculous amount of issues (since Dusty and others left) that are just going completely ignored. At the very least, we deserve to have Graal running properly. But currently we the players have to deal with the following problems that desperately need some attention:

- The Giant Blob: So, a little while back, winter ended and the spring tileset returned. Along with it, the giant blob. The server was lagging bad every time the blob spawned (given the large amount of people in the area), so rather than put in the effort to properly fix this issue, they put in a band-aid fix which basically reduced the blob's health by 9/10ths, and it now dies literally 30 seconds after it spawns. Also, AFKing in the area now warps you to an inn. Gone are the days of announcing to your guildmates that the blob has spawned, as it always dies before you have a chance to get there. This is not how the blob was ever intended to function.

- Bug spawn rate: With spring returning, so to did the bugs. But apparently the majority of the bugs didn't get the memo. Because the spawn rate is completely broken. I've seen one ladybug since spring started. Butterflies are a rare sight, and black beetles don't seem to have appeared at all. I know there's a number of bugs that don't show up till summer (dragonflies, grasshoppers, mantises), but the current bugs that do spawn are not spawning properly at all. And no one seems to be doing anything about it.

- Vases: The coding for vases was altered a little while back and they've been a complete mess ever since. Clicking on a vase in one's house will cause it to immediately break (even if a visitor clicks it, not just the owner). It's nice that the furniture vases can now be picked up, but even that is functioning oddly. There's a delay between the time in which you pick up a vase, throw it, and pick up another one. In other words you can't spam throw them like you can bushes. The vases are only producing hearts like 1/10th of the time as well. The last 2 issues (the screwed up throwing mechanic and the lack of hearts) also seems to be applied to most of regular non-furniture vases as well (but not all of them, for some reason).

This isn't everything (there's a number of smaller bugs I've noticed as well), but these are some of the biggest problems currently plaguing Classic. It's hard for me to see Classic in this state. In the past I would just post in the future improvements forum and Dusty would be on top of it. I know the current scripter(s) (is there even more than one, currently?) are doing their best, but the fact is; Dusty just did SO much. And with him gone, Classic has no one to keep everything in check. I don't blame him for leaving. It was a thankless job with no pay, and he had to constantly see people whine about the stupidest things imaginable. But Classic just deserves better than this. I mean, is anyone going to do anything about this?

(I know there's a bug reporting thread, but it's long since been abandoned and serves no real purpose anymore. Besides, I want this thread to be seen. So these issues can be addressed)

Wow, they actually fixed the bug spawn issue. It's night and day. I'm now seeing plenty of ladybugs and butterflies around the map, the way it should be. Thank you whoever fixed it! You have my sincerest gratitude.

Now if someone could just acknowledge that that were was in fact an issue and it was in fact fixed (so the doubters can see that I was't crazy and that this thread actually led to something being fixed, which is exactly what I wanted).

Well furniture vases were changed so they can now be picked up rather than slashed, so they can no longer be used that way anyway.  

Yup, they did. Just logged in to say thanks for the bugs ... caught a bunch and even saw a ladybug for the first time this season. Thanks for the quick turn around.

It's annoying when you're not on a murderous rampage. Like when your AP is over 40 and you are supposed to be able to heal?

Try to heal up to full and avoid losing all your bombs and arrows when traveling through an area where people are busy fighting and the vase is like "no, you don't get any hp... wait 30 seconds and try again."

It's annoying.

Please correct me if i am wrong.But when you are pking,your AP goes down like falling dominos.In no time you are u der 40 AP.

Ya,this vase thing actually does affect the gameplay experience of certain consumers,but up to a limit.

Idk if it's a bug or whatever,but it sure isn't a major one.

He wasn't talking about times when you're PKing. He was talking about times when you are trying to avoid PK, but still end up taking damage (a great example being farming in swamptown). The whole point of vases is that they drop hearts. That's their purpose. I thought the >40 AP healing penalty was already overkill. But now when I'm farming in swamptown and I have one heart left, I have to run to a blob and let it kill me just to avoid losing bombs (rather than enter my guild house, where I always had 3 vases placed near the entrance).

Even if this was an intended change, the rate in which vases drop hearts now is ridiculously low. I threw 40 vases the other day before getting a single heart (I'm not overexagerating, I was counting..).

Also, there's multiple issues with vases currently. This isn't just about the heart spawning. The furniture vases are in fact very bugged. 4-Lom even explained it in detail.
