Oh yeah no doubt I delay. I know when I say showlag, it'll say its average but I know Im almost never stable here. But anyway, to me its not really considered high unless its over 200. I can agree at least 180ms (my average) and over is High for Graal but from the other games I play like league of legends in NA server it doesnt make it a real big deal. Idk if there is anyone with my situation, but playing Graal with 200ms is putting me on disadvantage for a player like me who used to live in TX and had always very low ping at the time then move on to averaging it high. Had a hard time transitioning so my main activity to do which is solo sparring will be a little impossible

I'm from Australia I ALWAYS have 230-300 ping while sparring I don't lag at all.
I have no delay whatsoever (on tie hits I always win the match tho =O idk y) compared to someone like Nell.

Hate to be the person who breaks it to you, but if you live in Australia you would delay.  

Us Australian residence need a closer server!  

I'm from Saudi Arabia and with my 100mb/s download and 50mb/s download landline router + modem I've never pinged below 196ms.

I played PC Graal with a very low ping then had to use satellite internet for a year (literally 300-400ms consistently) and it was just awful, high ping makes it so that you have to spar predictively rather than proactively or reactively and it's just incredibly boring, it's a huge nerf to anyone with good reaction time  

Yeah thats the thing, I had a better reaction time before and when it comes to delayers, I switch prediction. Now I just spar by predicting all the time and I also find it too boring but hard to keep up when vsing others since I am forced to only spar defensively w/ my delay. Back then, I was more aggresive on the ring to make things fun and interesting

Not really. I've fought ReD and all my hits registered and the was no hitting people from a mile away stuff.
If you have really good internet in Australia it could be less laggy than someone in the UK for example.  

I live in France and I've constant 130-150ms on classic. It's boring to see people complaining about delay when it's not really an advantage for the one who is delaying.
There is no way for me to fix my lag graal as long as I live in France.
As said above, tons of people are playing on a same server at the same time, people from everywhere in the world.You can't expect everybody to have 30 ms evenif they have a good inet. (100Mbits downlad - 30Mbits upload - 30 ms on euw servs)
The only way for graal company to solve this problem is to put a server on each continent.
Otherwise you can continue to complain about that. I think that hacking in spar with a stupid cheat engine is worse than delayers who don't do it on purpose).

Delay works like this.

Delayer POV: Hits to where you are going
Your POV: Hits you directly while being close to you, but delayer is gone from that area.

Delayer POV: You swing directly at them while being close to them
Your POV: You swung where delayer was going and the registered a few seconds after.

So basically you both have to swing early to beat each other.
There is no advantage with delay, matches take forever, and is boring.

I would say delayers only have an advantage against people who don't know about their delay before the match, and when their opponent is someone who doesn't know how to fight against delay.

Oops, forgot. Yes, Delayers do have high ping. Generally they can range from 50-500 ms higher than you, depending on what time it is on the server. Anything above that, and it's just pure lag and warp spars.

This preety much sums it up.

Not "high" as in what "showlag" says
But high
Over 150 ping to any game = high

I don't get this. Going with your logic Central American players should've the least amount of ping and delay cause their travel distance is shorter.

But from what I've seen:
Korean/Japanese players doesn't warp around with low ping, yet they delay a little.
Some European players has really good connection, it's really hard to recognize their delay.
Central or South American, Canadian players delay and some tend to warp all around the arena.
You sure this has nothing to do with your internet speed?  

If you're warping it means your connection is unstable.  

Once I lived in america for like 5 Months each year because my Step-Dad lived there we had 70ms below, which was freaking fast!

Anyone that has a stable landline connection should ping optimally to Graal so long as nothing else is stressing their connection.

Ping isn't 100% dependent on your distance from the server, but also the route that it takes. The data doesn't just travel directly from your home to the server, there is a specific route it takes and some areas will have better routing to the server.

If you bring up a command prompt and type "tracert google.com" then you'll see what I mean. Some countries have more optimal routes to US servers than others.
