Yog, I'm pretty sure most kids are raised knowing stealing is not a good thing but at the same time, will probably do so anyways at some point in their lives.

Not every kid blindly listens to their parents for long. They're rebellious, weren't we all?

I don't agree with you that the majority of kids are going to steal. I also don't agree that it's blindly listening. I think we can all agree that stealing is wrong. It's not something you have to question twice, so it shouldn't matter the source of where you hear it. I never went through a phase of rebelling against my parents that I can remember. I've always loved my parents, and I feel we see eye to eye on everything. But even if I, or anyone else were to rebel it wouldn't justify being careless with your credit cards. If you think your child is going to steal it, keep it safe. Don't ruin something for those who are responsible.

Because that's what this is about. All of it. The only reason this lawsuit exists is because of gambling laws. The better system is called parenting and managing your money.

Well damn, why have any laws at all when you can have parents and be able to manage your money. Great idea, should put that in your book.

The privilege of having money must be so hard. Can't imagine what it's like having a ****ty child who steals from you. Don't leave your money sitting in the open. Why is that such a foreign concept to you.

Caffeine, eating, music, and games are pretty safe. Not sure on MSG, haven't looked into it nor do I actually care if it is.

Second link; says you should limit on how much they take in, as sugar is good for you and how its becoming harder with the government.
Third link, Click bait title meant to grab you, literally the first few lines says "In rats" and its still widely unproven, according to your own link, that high fat/sugar is actually addictive. If a kid is able to spend hundreds of dollars off a parents credit card then the parents should learn proper money management, I'm only 18 and I check all of my accounts on an hourly basis, it shouldn't be up to the law to help you know someone is spending your money when you can easily find out yourself in less than a minute

For the people who spend their own money on things like this, who cares it is their money and they can do what they want, gambling laws is the dumbest idea I've ever heard

Overall, there is no real way to stop it, but that doesn't mean just letting them do it is fine.

Yeah you'd figure that they have other ways to entertain themselves using their horrible judgement. Like endangering others using that horrible judgement while driving a car. Or maybe enlisting in the army, which is actually legal before you're even able to gamble if that makes sense to you.

I find it humorous that the argument for gambling being illegal for minors is stupidity and carelessness. You can get a job at 14 and drive at 16, but gambling is too dangerous until you're 18/21!!! You'te trusted to drive a 3,000 lb. chunk of metal driving 70 mph down the highway, but you're too young to gamble. The main reasoning in this thread for banning minors seems to be the fact that children can steal credit cards. That really doesn't affect gambling at all. Like Colin said, they can spend hundreds of dollars without gambling.

Why can minors with horrible judgement purchase things? We can't trust their judgement at such a young age to wisely spend their money, so I think we should ban all minors from buying candy bars until they reach the age of 18.

No where did I claim I'm a professional, I'm not and I've never said I had a full proof working model. What I've said is that just allowing them to do it is stupid and cut out the 3rd party cause most of them are scams. I know its going to happen and as long if the parents know about it, oh well, nothing I can do about it. Plus, I've already said there's no real way to stop it earlier to YOU. You blind dumbass.

Along with caffeine. I know tons of people who tell me they will get migranes if they don't get their caffeine every morning. That's because their body is addicted and craves it. Everyone p I know/knew who were minors were able to gamble without a problem. Gambling is the least addicting thing listed on this entire thread, ironically.

Yep... both parents quit coffee cold turkey. Both got migraines from it.
