This thread is talking way too much about religion and divine gods. It was meant to be a discussion on the legitimacy of some scientific theories, and in my opinion throwing religion into it is very off topic. Wait-- you don't think everything has a scientific explanation...? So you think there are things like magic, and voodo? Things that just happen because heck, who cares about how? I think you are very confused. There is a massive difference between not currently being able to fully explain something scientifically, and something NOT being explainable by science. Its like saying a magician is magically doing things because you don't currently know how the magic trick really works. |

I always enjoyed the universe-inside-a-black-hole theory. Quite an interesting one. (Anyways, religious debates are pointless. I'm a Christian, but a forum for a 2D Zelda game is no place to try to convert people. The Aesop fable where the Sun and the Wind are competing to get a traveler to take of his coat is a great example of why it's not a good idea, so shaddap.)

Anyway, there are things that have not been explained just yet. Examples I have is ghost phenomenon, the unaccounted for weight that leaves a dead body at the point of death, near death experiences, etc. However, I agree Pimpsy. But only God knows the "how" behind unexplained phenomenon. Science can only try to grasp at the undiscovered logic behind divinity. For all we know there could be all types of dimensions that have their own rules and structures. Heaven could be one. Who knows. One thing I find odd in science is the behavior of subatomic particles. Especially light. Apparenlty light can be in two different places at the same time and can be effected by our "viewing" of certain expiraments. Our involvement in the study directly effects the results of the experiments. Odd. |

tbh i think some of these scientific theories are turning so complex that they're partly bull****. reminds me of those pseudo-science theories people with creative minds come up with. then again everyone thought einstein was full of **** until practical experiments began confirming his theories. |

To end the reglious battle completely for all of the Christians trying to scientificly prove the existence of God : If God were to be real, he would have created all things, that includes the laws of science. So you cannot prove or disprove the existence of God with science. |

Generally religious debates degenerate into perpetual arguments where people skew information, trying to make it seem like you can't prove anything with science, so you can therefore believe anything (Including religions)(and greek mythology). Which doesn't really resolve much considering the extremely different philosophies that exist between religious and non religious people (One is based on faith, another is based on observable reliability.) |
