Idev and mixed GST
Can you do both? Someone said they'll disqualify you if you do which makes no sense.

They run both at the same time, what happens when you are summoned to play two matches at the same time? If your work around for this is by using an alt account then that is even dumber than the idea its self, not like you'll win either of them anyways. |

if i was doing both and was summoned to play at same time, I'd log idev team and they can summon sub. would do the gst for mixed. he can do it at his own risk. demrow is pretty darn good pc sparrer out there, but i think he's trying something new on idev and willing to try it out. but that's just my thoughts. |

if a player is ever allowed to enter into both tournaments, then every single idevice team is going to enter into mixed as well. every single mixed team cannot enter into idevice as some pcs don't own one or absolutely suck on idevice, which is why they are using a pc. this is not balanced and it's basically like having two gsts in one day for an idevice. also take into consideration that the idevice side takes 64 teams and the mixed side takes 32. if big idevice teams enter into the mixed side, they could edge out the mixed teams that have a chance at victory and would be able to compete if idevices couldn't slide in.

I want to say to you, why the hell idevice players do not use pc when they can? yet they cry about pc users. Don't generalize everything like this. Not every individuals are like that.

The tournament is single-elimination. Allowing players to have two chances at a prize while others cannot do the same is an unfair advantage. Sadly, players who like to use both iDevice and PC still have to abide by the rule in order to maintain a level playing field. IP addresses can be noted and used to identify someone doing this, but further inspection must take place in order to account for two people on separate devices simply in the same household. In this way, siblings playing in different tournaments is suspicious, but legal. This is a rule because it disallows abuse of the system. Abuse still can occur in different ways (and it does, quite often..) but ideally, everyone should follow the rule. Anyone who doesn't should be reported to a GP as the tournament should be kept fair. |
