Yes, way more than iOS. 1.5/1.6 is still used in some devices. After that, need to consider 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and now 4.0. Different devices are stuck throughout that range as some manufacturers don't care to update older models. Also, each manufacturer implements their software different. For instance, my HTC Desire w/ Sense was unable to use the default keyboard call whilst my Desire w/ Cyanogen (custom F/W) and my Galaxy Nexus could without issue. Android also has a poorer implementation of OpenGL. It would be great to have but a lot of work so I don't see Graal for Android having a high priority (though they have released others on Android ![]() |
