Perhaps to people on gang tag, there could be an optional system, when a gang has taken over a base, it says "BigNoob has taken over Mafia!" similar to notification of when you're killed and such (the writing at the bottom of the screen).

I also think dissolving the ability for alliances to hold bases would also bring more competition as opposed to several gangs ramming themselves into a base and one gang holds it while their allies do all the work, I know this defeats the object of having allies, but it is rather overkill for bases.

Doesn't it already give us a notification like that?

When you kill someone in-game, theyll say one last thing before they die sometimes.

I don't know, I meant if you were anywhere on the map :3  

So like a notification like (pms friends only, blocked).

Or do you mean like a Pm notification?

Ah I see. I'd like pm broadcast more because of the effect of that, ex: when an admin broadcasts "so-and-so would like a challenge at gang spar!" everyone goes. That's the kind of excitement I'd love in bases.

There should be a server message to everyone except the gang members if a top ten gang takes a base. Thatd even the odds a tidbit.

Small bases good idea  

But I don't like basing with a top-10 gang, nor do I know any of the members in any of them. Id enjoy it more if I could base with my friends and get a challenge at the same time.

Its still a challenge for the top ten and their allies. If a server message gets sent every noob in era might flock there.

1 person isnt, but 20 are when on average top 10 gangs base with 5 skilled people and 6-7 less skilled supporters. Remember back when lapse based and admins would broadcast challenges for us? Basically, itd be Like that. Plus some skilled gangs would come for the pks.
