I had an idea of turning 'Swamptown Flea Market' into something like this. As it stands, the shop is just another place to buy things from, it is nothing like a flea market. However, I don't think that hats shops are restocked at a rate that would compliment it. You will see something within the next month or so that will produce a similar effect though.

Maybe it has something to do with Rufus's Gnome contest? I do believe that Swamptown was centered around gnomes before, so it would make sense.

Point is, Xerxes, you'll probably see something better than what you're expecting.

anyways i love all these ideas and personally i'd like to see any of them implemented :0.  

I mentioned a very similar idea to this in the night stalking thread. Having a store with items from the past. That are no longer available, that the newer players don't have, and some the older players might have missed. Just run a limited amount of items and rotate them out and replace with other random items at the begging of every week. I would love a chance to buy some of the old items.  

Maybe this "Thrift Shop" could be in a "Frog Only" or "Dragon Only" area so that,sorry but, noobs, cant get really cool hats for 500G when it was worth 2500G  

An auction house sounds cool but it wouldn't work with how classic is set up like zelda in that it takes forever to build up a stock pile of funds. There would have to be low bidding levels or better spoils/more ways to earn gralats.

Not only could it be for hats that are about to be rotated out but "left over" holiday items that used to be available for purchase. You could include the quest items if you wanted, or just the ones you could pay for. Could be a smallish amount of items that gets rotated monthly so the inventory stays fairly fresh.

You could also make it a shop that players can trade in items for gralats like 10-30% of its original price like you would if you traded in a game to gamestop. Or trade it towards the purchase of another item to reduce its price more. For exp trade the pinata horse mount in and get 1000 off the price for a donkey mount. It wouldn't have to be an exact item type for an exact item type. i.e. you could trade in the valentines cat morph (3k i believe was the price for the morph) and get 750g off the price of a hat.
