Completly re do the whole pvp planet system
As the title suggest, the pvp planets with bases on them need to be completly redone mechanics wise. As of now, choros and icera are abandoned wastelands while spring is the only place where people have these massive battles constantly. Choros and Iceria give nothing as of now, i want to change that so choros and icera actually get competitive armys basing. My proposals are Springs teams mechanics&advertisement for when some squad attacks a planet base holding times to 40 seconds of time per base actually making it appealing to other squads to attack. In a whole you would recive around 2-4 base time PER MINUTE of basing Every 30 minutes you hold one of these planets then you recive 5000 big daddy war bucks. How the game would work. Very simple, just add in springs team mechanics. For the actual game itself though, you're score is the base time that squad got from bases. You get a total of 15 minutes and the squad with the most base time wins. To capture a base ditch the flags, instead of flags make it timed base by people there. Everyperson = 1 second and if you have multiple people in the zone then it stacks. The opponets can also slow down the capture time. They are 1 second too. If 1 guy is in the zone and 2 opponets are in the zone, then you subtract the two (1-2) and they would then begin to cap the base every second. It takes 45 seconds to cap a base. Its quite sad to see the original massive planets to host massive battles being abandoned and something has to be done about it. |

The change was during the times Zone had very little players and it was to try to influence more players to base with a more free-for-all basing, that is similar to Era and Classic. It was also due to the small player count that usually one squad owns all the planets, which we had to change for smaller squads. However with the release of squad planets and an increase of players, I also would like Iricia, Choros and Conquest to change back to how they originally were, but have Iricia as classical Zone PC Style and Choros as how Ghetto suggested, to create variety. |

Me too. I miss the massive 15v15 wars we had at iricia and choros that would go on for 30 minutes haha. The only problem is noobs. It is really easy to get PvP tokens and some people just like to play ding dong ditch, which is really annoying and a waste of time. So unless an hour requirment is put into place for using PvPs... I would hate to have it changed back.

^^^^^ I loved that you won a planet and then were summoned to another room where the losers are trapped and you can kill them.

I would really like it if they added in a points system too, that would be cool. 100 for a kill 25 for a kill while defending the objective 25 for killing a defender 10 for killing a defender while you cap a objective 500 for capping a objective 15 points for every 5HP a medic bot heals a teammate 50 points every defense bot kill 75 points every robot killed 15 points/second while you cap an objective total pay from that round is 35% of your in game score |

no offense or anything but how can you say "I wouldnt really be a fan" to it if you havent even experienced it. Also this is zone not era x.x ebi and ifreeze dont exist here. The point of the losers cage was not suppose to be a challenge but for fun/entertainment and humiliation of the defeated team. Which is exactly what it did and everyone loved it...not to mention the free pks haha. Also you cant compare era basing to zones becasue zones bases are way larger and it would take at least 60 people at iricia or choros to equal the amount of intensity in an iera base.

also on the iera bases, for the record, the best ebi ifreeze wars were the ones that were 13 people max, the one that we just obliterated ebi when there was a total of 41 people (37ebi-7ifreeze) was just a massive cluster ****. Imagine Op Locker 64 player but worse, it was miserable and created massive lag. Zones massive planets though, you could have way more people since theres way more space, **** 24 people would be a blast. |

As a competitive baser of iZone and long lasting player seeing all the changes that have been happening to it's PVP I can say I loved the first variant of basing that was released. It provided excitement good basing time and it was kind of a rush with iZone's combat system. I myself have a few ideas for planets so I shall state them here. Spring - The only side scroll-er to be released on iZone with a very exciting concept on release it was pretty interesting to kind of shoot only horizontally and something on graal that I have never seen. I was thinking that spring can have more maneuverability such as double jumps my reference is the game TitanFall. That game includes park-our and it would seem pretty awesome if players can move around abit more freely in this planet considering no transportation and such maneuverability can be good against situations such as poison. Choros/Iricia - Considering the are the same layout with different themed tilesets i was thinking that the map in general could be changed for one of these two so that we won't have the same content reused. iZone doesn't even have to make new levels they all ready have levels made of each tileset theme done. For the replacement of Choros gmap it could be the Lvl4 mission (Destroy Enemy Base) gmap, I find this map very interesting considering how tall the gmap is and the in-map obstacles such as baddies, and mines. The replacement for Iricia could be the map of lvl6 (Steal 3 Gold Bots) this map is tall as well with alot of in-map obstacles as well and can be very competitive in my opinion. Conquest- I think this base is pretty balanced if it were turned back into it's old state where the team with the most players on the base captures it, because back when this system was used it really wasn't about the amount of players there are 5 minutes in a round and you basically kill the team on the base then defend it was pretty intense and would love to see it come back. |

I like Blecks ideas. I just miss the old basing :/. And even though they dont give much base time I do like skyworld bases. Although they were done lazily, I like the action and variety that it gives zone. Skybases were what the players originally wanted (If i remember correctly) but instead they did a lazy fix (Removed PvP tokens from 3/4 of the planets and called it an update)and later skybases were added along with the new map). I feel that if zones staff used blecks ideas that he posted here and improved skybases by expanding them each with multiple levels, that zone basing would be awesome. As for ghettoicedteas idea of a final defensive for losers, I think itd be cool either way but I prefer the old losers cage. The final defensive idea is just too much imo and it would feel like squad spar.

Back in 2012, I remember the fun old times of PvP pick-a-team Choros and Iricia. It was basically all we could do. Put that back in. Conquest refined and put on the Sky World map where Sky Base 1 is located. Spring can basically take over the whole planet's mini mall. |
